car is in the shop so i played around 50 or so missions this weekend. every match i played i would get a random mutation, im playing on hard so it shouldn’t be happening. my teammates either quit or barley keep up. am i the only one who is experiencing this issue
I’ll try to replicate this bug, but I think it’s as simple as you accidentally selecting Random Mutation.
I can see how a “hard” player would not have much fun vs mutations, because some of them are definitely for Brutal+ and ++ players only. Like Poverty spawns and “Blink on Carriers” probably beats a Hard player every time.
I’m middle Diamond at 1vs1, and I cannot beat some of the mutations unless I have a literal Masters or GM ally on Co-op.
When I play regularly, I play on Brutal+ and ++, but “All units are invisible” kicks my butt every time. I’ve never managed to win a game on Brutal+++.
I don’t know why the game would be generating mutators on Hard difficulty on the regular setting. That must seem impossible.
i can struggle bus on brutal my partners cant, and i dont see where i would select a random mutations on the misson screen
There’s a tab at the top of the screen which you might have accidentally turned on without noticing it. Please check and make sure you are not on the mutation tab.
If not, then this really is a bug, but I’ve never seen it happen to me before. I entered SC2 Co-op chat and asked around abotu this potential bug, but nobody else is seeing it.

Seeing that it’s not reproducible by others, you should provide a video of the whole process from beginning to end for QA. If you just describe it and QA can’t replicate it either, there’s no chance of it even being investigated.
