despite Innovation literally move commanding his army into disruptors like an amateur
he even doesnt have concussive shells by 15 minutes into the game.
Its literally the problem with the match up, don’t pay attention for a second and your army is gone, whether its disrupters or psi storm, or colossus, or you know ALL OF THE ABOVE, then all terran has is ghosts, which just means you don’t instantly lose but just makes the fight even, its the same in TvZ, ghosts don’t win you the game they just stop it from ending immediately.
except he was paying attention, he just played badly.
and if you want to talk about blinking and your army disappearing.
widow mines say hi.
This is just stupid, if he was paying attention he wouldn’t have let multiple disrupters detonate in the middle of his army, lol.
so he dodged the first two but just decided to go look elsewhere at a crucial time in the game, and ignore the next two?
makes perfect sense.
He didn’t know the other disrupters were on top of the ramp, but it doesn’t change my point, terran can lose their entire army in the blink of an eye, and there isn’t any counter play other than really just not letting them get to that disrupter/colossus army. Its the same situation vs Zerg were you just can’t let them get to hive with drone saturation, in both match ups once they reach that point the ONLY way a terran wins is with massive mistakes from the toss/zerg players.
ONE game and next 2 games? Trap was supposed to lose to the push but OP combo is op. Trap is proly best Protoss around, but Innovation is also best Terran around this is where BALANS comes
knowledge is power.
yeah because terran is the only one who can lose their army in a blink of an eye. also theres no counter play? what do you call IM?
Theres a huge difference between a terran losing an army and a protoss/zerg losing an army, protoss can have a warp in and chrono reinforcements, zerg can remax in a single cycle, terran is dead. Terran is also not capable of instantly vaporizing an army, barring some serious braindeadness of marching an army into like a dozen widow mines, lol.
and they are balanced around those mechanics. but furthermore, losing a huge chunk of your army can be game ending regardless. if you are pushing a zerg 4th and drop a few wm and watch those wm blow up a good chunk of banes and lings, odds are that game is over. doesn’t matter that he has larvae, you can now push in for the kill.
ever seen what 3-4 well placed widow mines do to a flock of mutas? GG.
you mean like marching your army into a few disruptor hits?
and yet here you are QQing up a storm about that.
Its not even remotely the same thing, WMs can’t move when doing damage, they have 5 range, and announce themselves when targeting for some reason and can’t kill a single protoss unit in 1 shot other than like probes, so yeah you have to be braindead.
and yet they are much cheaper and can hit air too.
and yet look what they can do to zerg.
I feel like widow mines really suck against Protoss. I could not be using them right but even having a couple of good connects don’t seem to hit very hard in a fight. Great against workers though.
Are we actually whining about widow mines as Protoss?
they suck vs protoss. not vs zerg though. the complaint was watching your army dissapear, as if terran is the only one who has to deal with it.
WMs stop being effective at late game, and are super random and can be abused by sending a ling in ect. But again, they rarely straight up win you the game cause the zerg reproduces those lost units quickly.
Are we actually whining about widow mines as Protoss?
no, i’m pointing out to them that terran isn’t the only one who can watch their army go bye in an instant or two.
Objectively, it will happen far more frequently against Terran.
will it? why because innovation move commands his army into disruptors?
