Take it up with your local consumer protection agencies. Be sure to name the entire video game industry, because that is who you’re accusing of scamming, not just Blizzard.
Of course not. In these cases of new purchases, if one doesn’t accept the consequences of a retired status, they don’t purchase.
Again with the hyperbole. But yes, people are to blame for their own choices.
Again, if you choose to play a retired video game, you choose to accept what comes with it.
As for the rest of your post, it’s fine if you believe so, that’s your prerogative. But unfortunately that isn’t the reality of how retired video games work.
So, u still saying blizzard can take the money but not the problems, fine. The status game is retired, fine. So, all this company, agencies, whatever… gets lot of money and they just have…1 person working there just to fix a problem that u said it will be fixed in kinda 3 days but is almost a week …do u have someone on charge telling u what to say or u just answering like a bot without any kind off feedback from a dev??
It’s intended to resolve periodically, which can work out to 1 to 4 days depending on when it occurs. It’s certainly not impossible that the fix itself could fail.
The fix will only work for a specific issue. It may not have any effect on any other issues, even if they have the same public-facing symptoms. This current issue could be something entriely different.
The fix doesn’t address the underlying problem, so the issue can recur anytime after the fix, including the same day thereby resetting the fix timer, and possibly appearing to go longer than 3 or 4 days.
No one is telling me what to say. However, I have some access to what’s going on behind the scenes. Hence, I do have some knowledge of the internal details of this issue.
However, anything I’ve said about the industry at large has nothing to do with Bliz or its developers. It’s simply a reality no matter who says it.
Ok, summarizing everything you said, u dont have any idea about when (an specific date) its going to be fixed this problem. Thanks for the clarification about u dont have anyone telling u what to say but contradictorily u have “access about whats going on”. GG
For the fix date, no. Historically, it’s taken up to two weeks. More recently, it’s been less than that.
Sorry, CLOWNCHITOO, but those two don’t preclude each other. I can have access to information without being told what to say. So now with this third round of hyperbole from you, it’s clear you don’t want to discuss this rationally.
I’m sorry you don’t like the situation. But it is the reality. And as I have alluded to several times already with you, take it or leave it, those really are your only choices.
Well, if u can access the information without being told about what to say, just bow your head and apologize on behalf of those who pay you. Why do u have to say 3-4 days and bla bla bla, just say sorry and all of u are working hard, coz even if the game is retired and u repeat and repeat is our responsability for choosing this game, the only thing u do is getting all people more angry, u are not helping at all, u just doing a mess in a situation u have to be ready to calm waters. Say whatever u want, at this moment ur word doesnt have any kind of value. Every answer told is actually ruining u more. Keep working out about ur perfomance on client service. Best wishes dude. GG
Ok, so if the Blizz’s position is “this game is retired so we don’t commit to support it properly”, Blizz should make it available offline and free for all
And there’s no need to apologize for Bliz because I know some of the internal details. That doesn’t make any sense.
You’re treating this too generally. Not everyone will have the same reaction as you. And regardless of the reaction, understanding the situation can help, even if one doesn’t like the situation.
For you perhaps, but not eveyone approaches this issue irrationally.
Trouble there is “properly” is subjective. It will have as many different meanings as there are people.
SC2 has an offline mode. The only requirement is periodic validation with Battlenet. Usually it’s every 30 days or so.
That’s what I suspected. Well, that cements my suspicion that you don’t want to have a rational discussion, you just want an echo chamber. Good luck with your soapbox.
