I would like them to remove resurrection from the game entirely. Mass rez was just not good for the game and I always had a bit of an issue with an ultimate that could not provide value until the team was dead. What mass rez did do was contribute tons of complexity/higher skill ceiling to Mercy’s kit which it now lacks. Rez on E feels cheap, requires little thought and feels crappy with all the penalties. Ideally, they would rework her, giving her a kit with a higher skill ceiling and a more rewarding ultimate.
Speaking as a tank main, I’d honestly consider her the second worst healer to have on your team right now. Only one worse off is Brig.
She heals way too slowly, Valk is pretty low-impact compared to other Support ults, and Rez is a death sentence in most combat situations, it takes too long and she has to stop healing to do it. Best use is to save someone some walking time after a fight is over. Whoopie.
Only reason to bring her is the damage boost, and even that isn’t really wowing anyone at this point in the game.
Honestly, I’d be fine with Mass Rez returning, it would give her SOMETHING. She may be OK statistically, but thats not really the same as being fun or interesting to play.
Resurrect if it must stay in the game must stay as ONE, with the chance to interrupt it.
Mercy as she is right now, is perfectly fine, he does the same healing as the other main healers (not burst healing ofc)
There is an issue of her damage output (including damage boost) is very low compared to others but not sure what they can do about that.
Her current state is balanced but outside of her mobility, she is wholly lacking in any kind of engagement and agency for anyone playing as her.
This is what I want for her.
- Mercy now heals her GA target for 15-25 HP whenever she uses it.
- Mercy’s E remains Resurrect, exactly how it is now on the live servers. However! Mercy’s E can now be used on living targets as well. When used this way, it provides the target a burst heal of 125 followed by a 100 HPs 1.75s channeled heal. During this channel, Mercy is NOT slowed by 75% but is unable to use other abilities. Both uses incur the 30s CD.
- Pushing Shift while doing the standard Resurrect will now cancel the ability and use GA. The normal 30s CD applies.
- Valkyrie’s main beam buffed to 80 HPs, chains nerfed to 40 HPs.
- Valkyrie doubles the value of change #1.
- Valkyrie’s duration nerfed to 12 or 10 seconds.
- Valkyrie no longer increases the length of Mercy’s beam.
- Undo the last dumb change to damage boost.
What they should do about it is give her a bit more healing or a bit more utility. Mercy is and should remain the healer pick for when you don’t need any damage potential from your healer pick.
She is only fun and playable for me because of her superjump.
Mercy’s as hot as ever, so she’s doing alright.
Tank mains hate mercy, and for obvious reasons
I want her to continue her beam if she uses her ult instead of interrupting it.
Would like to see 55 HP per heal, maybe a “cleanse” that removes hack, anti heal, etc…
I’d like her to gain %healing and lost maybe 10hps (so 40hps + 10% of max health p/sec)? It’d make her much better at healing tanks.

I think her kit is perfect as it is, and will probably look even better if dive comes back.
She could use some bug fixes though. Rez has some funky interactions with map geometry that can be annoying to deal with.
I spent 10 minutes looking for an M. Bison yes GIF, than gave up and gave you an thumbs up.

In the best state she’s ever been, bar none.
She’s decent.
Rez is holding her back, rework it or remove it.
Valk is fine
I believe she’s in a good place. However, I’d like to give her a buff to her valk. After listening to some concerns from a Mercy main, I’ve discovered that to a lot of people there is no urgency to charging up her ult. Maybe slightly buffing valk should be considered.
I’m fully against mass rez. Having her rez one person is enraging enough it’s like oh I have to kill that person all over again; especially when you play high risk high reward kinda heroes. It punishes a good play by the enemy and that doesn’t make sense to me.
I’ve heard from a lot of people that they prefer her E be replaced with something similar to Bap’s shift (and that idea came around before Bap was released.) The idea was to let her press her staff against the floor and give healing to nearby allies. Maybe give her something similar but instead of healing, nearby allies get extra dmg boost, but it needs to be slight.

Buff her heals to 55, beam doesn’t break during Valk activation, reduce movement reduction during ressurect to 50%, attach a heal/dmg boost meter to her ressurect so she EARNS it and works for it instead of being stuck on waiting a 30-second CD. Increase Valk’s healing to 65 and reduce its duration to 12 seconds.
Mass Rez could’ve been addressed without a rework. LoS checks, cast time, invincibility revert were all options Blizzard could’ve worked with, but they preferred to listen to the DPS complaints and then made the most unbalanced kit this game has ever seen.
