It’s because she can easily be countered and her speed is not up to par with this game’s pace. Essentially, the only thing that is up to par (speed wise) is how fast her gun charges. But the range makes sure she isn’t a threat in most scenarios.
She is very easy to take out. And when alone, she is even easier to take out. She is far from a threat vs anyone who can aim or anyone who is competent at this game.
The same goes for Bastion, Mei, and lowkey Torbjorn. Niche = nonthreatening because Niche = easy to hard counter.
That’s the worst thing you could have written as it implies you carried the game but your team wasn’t good enough.
I usually defend Symmetra mains but you were kinda milking it in your case.
The enemy answer was just perfect because it kinda puts you in your place and denies entirely your ego trip.
Try to be less conceited, realize you’re not the only one doing your best during a match and accept that you’re also part of the reason why your team lost.
I don’t think it had anything to do with the fact you were playing Symmetra and that they didn’t take the hero seriously.
It is one hundred percent their team’s fault. The tanks should be leading the charge. If sym is already in place killing the enemy supports, the tanks should already be in combat with the enemy frontline. There should also be zero reason to lose a fight with a numbers advantage and access to healing. Their teammates were simply incompetent.
My guess is you were attacking out of sync with your team.
It’s easy for a flanker to come in after the teamfight is over and get a pick or two from the beleaguered remnants of the enemy team. It won’t help you win, though.
