You need to stop with the winrate arguments

Especially when it comes to gm, does no one remember objectively weak heroes like sym, dps doom, sombra etc all having low pickrates but high winrates in gm???
Sym had something like 65% winrate at one point and doom floated around 57%, let’s not act like these winrates mean the heroes are strong when we know they were nothing but niche heroes.

The two top dog dps heroes being tracer and Cree had insanely high pickrates compared to the rest of the dps roster in ow1 whilst sitting between 50-55% winrates respectively despite both of them easily being the strongest dps heroes in the game at the time.
It would be moronic to argue that dps doom, sombra or sym were stronger than ow1 tracer and mccree.

Gm players on average don’t play weak heroes, they gravitate towards the strongest heroes that will help them win the game and we’ve seen this being represented in certain heroes pickrates.

For the love of god stop focusing on winrates.

We have no accurate source to look at WR or PR, and until Blizz themselves give us the data, we never will. I think people get lost in the sauce looking at WR/PR, and they don’t consider other supplemental info that could be hugely important to those numbers (even if you did use those sources as a valid form of data, which they are not…looking at Overbuff…).

There are just some people who can not fathom the strength or weakness of a hero without having the data tell them ‘Oh, hero X must be strong!’. It’s about so much more than raw statistical data (again, even presuming we had accurate data)…which is something I think Blizz is starting to realize a little more themselves.

Okay cool.

The 5% of all the player base currently in GM in Overwatch can subsidize the battle passes of the other 95% since it should be optimized around them.

The Esport dream is dead. Hi-SR clout has vaporized. Sorry for your loss.
