When Brig was announced, the devs promised that she would “shake up the meta”.
Most of us were expecting variety to the dive meta. Optimally, Brigitte was supposed to counter the concept of meta, i.e. the idea that some hero compositions are objectively better. She was supposed to bring variety to the game
Instead, she just switched the meta from dive to deathball. Nothing about “meta” has changed at all. There’s still the same number (if not less) viable heroes. There’s still a lack of variety. It’s just that Brigitte is part of the meta instead of Tracer.
