You aren't paying $40 for a skin

You’re paying $40 for the blizzcon ticket.

Now, you might not care about blizzcon, BUT that’s not how it works.

If you get a box of cereal and there’s a toy in it, are you paying for the toy? No, you’re paying for the cereal.

I’m not exactly sure what this reply is…

I like the comparison somebody else made:
“How could Disney sell a $100 sticker! Sure, you also get access to all of Disneyland, but I only want the sticker!”

Happy Meals are all about the toys.

Look, everyone knows what they are paying for when they buy the ticket. While it doesn’t matter much to me, and I think Blizzard can do whatever they want with their game, it still just sucks if you really like the skin (But don’t care about any of the other things it comes with). Where similar skins have come out in a simple update, such as Barbarian Zarya and Butcher Hog. It’s inconsistent.
Again, it’s their game, and they can do whatever they want with it. In the end it will just be how their community views them as developers.
