No, they refuse to risk their lives for you. If you are going to attempt suicidal attack on enemy team, don’t take other teammates down with you.
Happens so many times…
A support is considered like a god by some players, obviously you are everywhere, see everything, and do miracle.
And like a god, only time people remember about you, is when they need something from you.
Say that again for the Supports in the back!
Fellow Supports (looking at some, not all of you Mercy players spamming jump who won’t switch off Mercy when dps aren’t getting enough kills) have the gall to say “DPS/Tank diff” when they aren’t even making plays are the worst.
On the flip side, it’s totally hot when a Mercy player actually pulls out the glock and goes to town. Those Mercy players are the real VIPs
Be more alert. I’ve stood next too, behind, in front of my supports and they…just look away
Having to manage my time with medpacks which is fine but I can’t heal and capture a point XD
Darling, if a dps needs healing and I haven’t gotten them it is because there are higher priorities or they were off doing something dumb and I’m not following them into oblivion.
The smart ones who are clearly cynical stop asking after 1-2 times. The dumb ones keep spamming and wonder why I ignore them.
few things:
- if healing charts are high with low dps as a support, its likely because there’s tons of damage going out and your support is doing the job that’s necessary… which is healing
- if healing charts are high, and you’re spamming heal me and not getting healed, its awfully presumptuous to assume you’re the priority.
find it so funny these dps players, who literally have one job, do damage, come in here and say “you’re supposed to do a mix of both”. Oh ya? what’s the perfect balance, do tell. roll support then and do a better job, no one is stopping you.
Try doing your job and heal your teammates before they feel the needs to spam “need heals” while hiding behind a corner. Its bad value.
I can agree with a lot of what you say in your post, but:
Setting up the translocator on a max health pack is literally how she’s designed to be played. She’s a flanker, a backline assassin/ult farmer. As a Sombra, you shouldn’t even be near your Mercy or your team for most of the fight until you drop your ult.
She flanks, get the job done, and if in trouble, tp back to safety, go invis, rinse and repeat until it’s ult time. That’s how you’re supposed to play her. As for Trancer and Genji, pretty much the same. Reaper as well. They have free getaway cards others don’t have. Tracer played well don’t even need a health pack at all.
Feeders should never get attention, be cause that draws your attention off those who can actually make a difference in a match.
I’d say pocketing is more situational and pocketing a tank only is never a good thing if it’s done consistently throughout the match. In tight spots there might be heavy damage being dealth to the tank, especially in chokes, and that does require focus healing on the tank, but hell, i’ve even seen tanks ignoring to use their survival abilities just as much as supports like Bap players never using their IF, and others holding on to their ults for dear life when they could’ve used it to prevent a team wipe etc.
As a GM3 support main. Thank you. So many insist it is one or the other to climb. The whole thing is not black or white- it is gray- it is CONTEXTUAL. We have to be wise and act accordingly.
That was not very respectful. Albeit, you aren’t wrong either.
I am not a healbot and I do not pocket people. Deal with it.
On that note, asking someone to switch because you don’t like their pick makes you a bad teammate and won’t help you climb.
This would make the most sense right? But this usually happens:
Usually the whole team just falls apart the tank is feeding regardless of what anyone does. If the tank is only soft feeding then you can enable them sometimes.
The problem with feeder tanks is that they have no idea what they’re doing, hence they feed. They don’t use their abilities correctly aka cool down management, they don’t position themselves properly and just keep holding that W button in.
You simply cannot enable a feeder tank like that. The only thing you end up with by pocketing such a feeder tank, is a tank that feeds even harder as you keep adding to their ego by pocketing them.
It’s better to let them learn things the hard way. If you feed, you die and you need to learn how to play.
You don’t have time for tank to learn things hard way, as it screws over everyone else.
What can you even do then? Cause the dps can’t do anything without a tank unless they’re cracked.
What i said basically boils down to. Let the tank die from their own stupidity and have them learn that way. Most tend to learn fairly fast if they stop getting heals from rushing and feeding.
Or you can waste your time telling them to go practice vs AI and learn the basics of playing a tank hero, instead of screwing over everyone else on the team.
I’d rather pocket a good damage player than a tank player who keeps feeding. The more you keep that feeder alive, the more ults your enemy team will eventually build up, and way faster than if you don’t.
Stop trying to tell me how sombra should be played when you yourself don’t even play her
It’s not how it works in game, you have to make them work, regardless if they are stupid or not. There is no “let’s pause the score and timer, until tank figures things out” option, you need good game here and now.
