To be honest, I wouldn’t hold weight to the linked video in terms of the timeline, but that is my own opinion with absolutely no new insight.
Thanks for the info, I had no idea the OW1 beta lasted so long! Hopefully in this case, since the frame of the game had already existed, the OW2 beta won’t last so long
To be specific it ran in spurts. Like one weekend here, another there. It did that to ensure there would be a certain number of players would be actively playing when the servers were live. This is common for team-competitive games in development.
But its not though, lmao
why do people keep saying match 11th. the article released on the 23th. two weeks from the 23th is the 9th. the 9th is the last day
He makes the same points a lot of us have already made honestly. Mar 11th or bust. If by then we get nothing I think it will be time to give up entirely.

Metro is not an official source and pretending they are is…

Also your ‘source’ is from mid-last year ![]()
Just me or does that guy have one of the most annoying voices ever? Hard to listen to.
As much as I like Your Overwatch, this video is just a click bait vid with only speculation and hopium and contains no information to back up claims.
That is not a source considering that guy has predicted (in order): a 2021 release date in April, a 2023 release date claiming that the PvE was basically done and all that remained was the multiplayer (note he claimed this in 2021), then he said his sources said that OW2 was being split with the MP launching in 2022 and the campaign in 2023.
So basically he has “leaked” every possible combination of events involving OW2. Sometimes the campaign is ahead, sometimes its behind, sometimes the game is almost done, sometimes it isn’t. At some point it is time to admit he doesn’t have a clue. The only time he ever got anything right was when Blizzcon was in person and it is very clear that his source was from someone setting up the show and without that he is no different than anyone on these forums.
Last year someone leaked that the pve part is pretty much done already. The major delay is caused by moving to 5v5 in pvp which means most heros are getting balance changes, and many need reworks. So, I think if owl will be playing on OW2, we are not far from the game launch. (Unless owl will be played on a very early build with many heros disabled)
