I didn’t mean his design, I just meant its ana’s design at fault not doomfist himself

Is Doomfist even particularly good against Ana and Zen? They tend to play so far back I usually don’t even get attacked by Doomfist, instead I tend to be the one killing him as them. Doomfist is mostly a blight on Lucio/Moira/Mercy and pretty much every DPS that isn’t him, and most of the tanks.

Ok, where is my free kill Doomfist button with 0 counterplay?

You really can’t. Unless you’re on the edge of it, there’s pretty much no escaping without mobility.

every hero in the game counters ana, even the enemy ana grenade’s purple will overpower the friendly heal buff one :man_shrugging:

I don’t know what to say here… if the doomfist has Ana anywhere near the center of the circle, she’s not escaping. If you could literally just walk out of it with ease, then it would never get any kills.

Which is what I said. They complain because they get screwed by their design. And getting paired against a hero who can literally delete you repeatedly, without much ways to fight back aside from a hard-to-land CC on a long cooldown, is going to cause people to complain.

I mean pretty any hero with mobility and above average damage can “counter” Zen/Ana if no one’s babysitting them

because we move it to where they are gonna move because its that bad of an ult you have to predict where they are gonna move

what a joke. Sleep animation is simply too long. Not to mention that you’re a free kill when he ults.

Because usually your counter doesn’t come all the way across to get close and kill you. They wait for you to go to them, which you can play around.
Tracer and genji don’t toss you around which gives you a better chance to fight back. DF’s reliance on cooldowns always make his kills feel cheap, especially meteor strike.
Flankers are more of predators than counters.

Pharah countering Doomfist isn’t comparable to Doomfist countering Zenyatta. The Pharah isn’t going to come out of nowhere and basically OHK Doomfist. He still has a chance to escape and survive, even against a good Pharah, a luxury that Zenyatta doesn’t have against a good Doomfist targeting him. Again the issue isn’t about counters, it is about a lack of counter play.

where is the counter play to doomfist vs pharah pls and thank you its the same as doomfist vs zen. the only way you get kills against pharah as doom is cheese (her being on the ground or some top 500 rollout). its the same with zen. even if doom can escape he cant do anything pharah can tell there team where doom is and boom no kills and if you try you feed. using counter play as the argument where is it for doomfist via pharah running isnt counter play because doomfist would be just as usless as the zen vs doomfist matchup.

The counterplay is to kill the other team and ignore the flying pigeon and let someone else deal with her while you kill zen/ana.

Not sure if you’re not getting my point or if you just feel like you’re stuck defending a position that you know isn’t good. Doomfist sends Zenyatta to spawn without any chance for counter play. Pharah makes Doomfist’s job harder and is very hard for him to kill, but that’s how a good counter works. The interaction between Pharah and Doomfist is just like the interaction between Reaper and Winston. Winston can’t do anything about Reaper in most situations, but he can ignore him, escape from him, and continue providing value to his team that doesn’t involve 1v1ing Reaper. While Winston is being “countered” he is still able to outplay Reaper. That isn’t the case with Doomfist vs Zenyatta, and to deny it is just dishonest.

the counter play is to have a roahog mecree brig sombra or doomfist sit by zen and stun him when the enemy doom tries to make a move? nice logic i can use it too.
