It gives OW very minor content (hardly the game itself, just footage and gameplay), while I can’t speak for everyone it does give me some drive to play the game more.

remember though boxes loot are determined IMMEDIATELY when acquired, so if you opened it after the 50 (like an idiot) you may get a dupe

Well that explains it then - the contents are generated when you get the boxes, but the series you buy don’t do a repeat check before assigning… makes sense then…

yeah…so either way he was going to get a dupe, one way would of just FELT less bad

well I just read on the legendary loot box, and it appears that the loot from the lootboxes that come with it and the legendary are determined as soon as you buy

so it is possible to say get a legendary event item from the standard lootboxes, that you didn’t have and that item be the one that was rolled into your legendary loot box

Not sure if someones explained this yet but I’ll explain what happened. A boxes loot is determined when it’s bought. So when he bought the 50 loot boxes and 1 gold box the gold box registered that he didn’t have the Mei skin and put that in the box. Then he unlocked the 50 normal boxes and got a Mei skin from it thus the gold box gave him a dupe.
