xQc is more than 50% of Overwatch twitch viewers

and you seem like a boring person

I’m not sure what that says about the community…

I lose interest not because of the lack of content, but because of the dogsh*t balance

XQC is toxic.

Now that’s a joke if ever I’ve seen one.

Felix is decent as a variety streamer

He is repulsive as an Overwatch streamer though

And regularly causes the random “REMOVE SUPERJUMP” flood of posts every few months around here

xQc’s on-stream persona is entertaining to far more people than just OW players, it’s no wonder that he makes up a large portion of it.

Him and his viewers are far from the only ones who want it removed.

You mean lack of balance.

Also, OP, 40000 followers is not 40000 viewers, he like all overwatch streamers, never even hits 10000 simultaneous viewers.

I mean, many non-competitive games that are around for quite some time top OW viewers, like Fortnite, GTA V and even WOW.

And… CS:GO average number of players online at the same time is 640k (900k peak this month) on steam and it barely gets 40k viewers when there isn’t a tourney going on. In the other hand OW would average more than 70k viewers when people like Tim, MoonMoon, xqc and seagull streamed daily. OWL alone used to get 130k viewers on twitch, which could top many CS:GO tournaments.

It’s more like the game wasn’t able to sustain a community like LoL and Fortnite for example than competitive vs casual. After all, competitive games without a big community have little average viewers, getting high numbers only when there is a tourney.

Whoa this about sums it up very well. It’s kinda absurd that they can’t get over some of these simple issues and instead have somehow managed to add up more issues to the game during last 1,5 years

It depends a lot really. If the new content (like events, balance patches, competitive changes and new heroes) came in a way that kept the top streamers interested in the game, the numbers wouldn’t be so low. In the other hand there is no content in the world that can keep giant streamers in the game for 6-8 years playing 8 hours/day, so it’s also a matter of keeping the community engaged in watching the game.

“So anyway I am so cool coz you know, I am not toxic and all, and I just hate those toxic people, like omg what is their problem, why are they sooooooo toxic?”

Just yikes some people that can’t help themselves from riding some social justice agenda high horse whenever they can. What is next, are you going to call Dr disrespect toxic? Jimmy Fallon? Conan?

Coz you know every strong successful individual with their own opinions and large audiences are just so toxic.

He likes to win, he has emotions, he shows his emotions, it is called being human. And if people enjoy watching a media personality they like to watch media personalities. Looking down upon other people’s preferences and or hobbies or otherwise trying to discredit anyone by calling them “toxic” won’t buy you any extra life points, nor make anyone appreciate you more. Just saying, most people see through such shallow agendas.

Bruh. Like, what parts of him are not toxic? Literally he gets featured in twitch clip compilations screaming like a maniac. And Chipsa? Like, the dude is constantly losing his whole friggin mind onstream. Nobody is getting this from the forums, fam, you just gotta watch em play 1 round in a game n if they die they screaming like the enemy team gave em a purple nurple

Chipsa and xQc not toxic looooool
I have watched em all, Chipsa, xQc, Redshell, like these dudes get a rep for a reason. They are entertaining as heck, but they are about as toxic as they come.
XQC might have his heartfelt moments, and so does Redshell, never seen it really from Chipsa, but for the most part if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck.

Being edgy doesn’t mean being toxic. I hate that mixing up these 2 things got all the quality edgy content on youtube demonetized and actioned against a few years ago

Screaming is toxic now?
Fans watching soccer or football in stadiums or homes are toxic? What a nice argument man.
Being toxic means you have to actually be MEAN TO PEOPLE.
ChipSa doesn’t flame anyone that can listen to him.
He speaks constantly to his chat, chat and ChipSa flame eachother, and chat does it way more. You can flame ChipSa without even getting timed out.
He talks trash to himself. He doesn’t trash talk on the mic to his teammates ingame or in all chat. Grow up and WATCH HIS STREAM BEFORE BELIEVING FAIRYTALES.

It was always like this UwU

Ok but… yes it does, though. If you’re being “edgy”, which usually means being offensive or screaming at people for shock value, that is toxic. Surprise surprise, if you’re being “edgy” and the result is people don’t like you and companies don’t wanna be associated with you, that usually just means you’re ACTUALLY an “a-hole”.

Screaming AT your teammates is toxic. Screaming in general, no, but you already knew we weren’t talking about “WHoOoOoO GET EM DUDE GET EEMMM” screams so don’t play stupid. LOL screaming in football stadiums, for real dude? How is that a comparison to having xQc in your ears going “yYUh YhYOY’RE GARBAGE TRASH UNINSTALL YoU ArEn jdbKHBFbjbkdflvffgnjkm AND yOU ,knakdbkjABFBJKFDJA” Donald Duck unintelligible RAGING at you?

And Chipsa might not scream into VC, but he doesn’t have to. He is trash talking his entire team constantly to a whole audience. Just bc you see it later clipped on twitch instead of hearing it ingame doesn’t make it any less toxic.

Who?

Nope, it’s not.
I can be flaming you myself and wishing all sorts of disease and other stuff on you as I type, you can’t hear it and can’t know it unless I say so.
So yeah, not even an argument because of how unlogical it is.
You are toxic when the person you’re supposedly being toxic to is aware.
