This is probably the single best way to respond to some of the horrible takes people have on here
So… no source then, you just made it up…
I’m surprised you’ve never heard of him. If you’ve played OW longer than the last 3 years, he was basically everywhere. Even without watching streamers.
Except they are required to say when they are paid to play a game. They are not going to risk their accounts for a single payday. The more likely reason is that s6 content is in 2 weeks and the advertising that has been spent by Blizzard already has them betting on it being a short term winner for views.
They are not paying him to play. For those unaware, he announced he would be playing Overwatch 2 a while back with Jesse. This was bound to happen one day or another, it was a matter of time.
If he was paid, he would have had to put something in his title for paid advertisement, especially on Twitch even.
Idk if that is real, considering he’s been the face of Twitch for practically eternity at this point, now Kick with his 100M$ deal. He’s basically constantly on and hard to miss on any of the 2 platforms in general. His background in Overwatch is also pretty well known if you’ve been around since early OW1.
How to admit you’re jealous without saying it.
Would arguing it’s bad since most of them do it consistently with like more than just 2 accounts and successively. But I’m fine with the Winston-only he’s doing. He also has a massive disadvantage the lower he is with streamsnipers (like in the old days). I’d say it’s fair in his case since the streamsnipers generally mess his progress consistently lmao.
What could be better than having an aggressive, toxic freak make millions of dollars treating all his teammates like trash to an audience of the world’s most annoying and least-parented 13 year olds?
“I can’t do Overwatch, like non-sponsored anymore, unfortunately. It’s really… in my opinion, really boring, which I don’t know how they can fix that. It’s just that the most broken s**t they have in the game. You literally can’t play. It’s too boring.”
Tyler1 many were sponsored on launch till dec I’m sure they mention it in their streams
@staff
Lol keep removing my posts about your streamer boy on crack all you want.
If it is in the title they are okay. Shroud didnt have it in his title, xQc didnt have it in his title, and many of the others who quit around s3 did not have it in their titles. They are not going to risk their accounts for one payday when such a risk will both likely be found out and is not a significant enough payday to risk the account. There were sponsored streams early on in OW and they were in the title. These are not that. You have to post when you are sponsored EVERY time for the entire duration of said sponsored stream.
Glazing the XQC glizzy fr
damn he really is just a loud=funny guy
i thought those died out in like 2014
Literally the most valuable streamer, got paid $100 million dollars to use Kick. Also one of the best Winton players. Good advertisement for this bad game. Even said he is “trauma-bonded” to the game while playing ranked lol.
He said he’d never play OW again, and he comes back and starts playing OW again. That is the typical cycle of the Streamers now-a-days. They said they’ll leave and never come back, but lo and behold: They always return.
Bet blizz paid em. OW 10k viewers to day then out of nowhere xqc raises it to 60k+
One of the toxic manchildren that is also one of the people that sold out and moved their streams to the incredibly sketchy kick despite his own previous stance given on gambling etc being vehemently against it. Unfortunately, he’s massive.
Didnt XQC go on a rant about how he can steal peoples content so he can do “reaction vids” and how he shouldnt have to share revenue?
Dudes a scumbag.
Most aware OW player
XQC is washed, and doesn’t understand or feel all the new hero changes yet. It’ll take some time for him to rediscover all the fundamentals of Overwatch again.
imagine needing to pay streamers to play your game because they wouldn’t just play it because they enjoy it.
I don’t think XQC was paid to play Overwatch.
One reason is because he was challenged by Dafran to do a Winton to top 500 challenge, and XQC is the type of person to not refuse that type of challenge. Another is because XQC actually seems to be enjoying playing Overwatch. While playing Overwatch he literally has to remind himself what time it is because he almost forgets to sleep. At the same time he says this is my last game, and then in the end he says one more game after his match finishes.
At the same time, most of the time he streams OW not on Twitch, but no Kick. I doubt Blizzard wants to associate themselves with Kick due to the nature of the stie, it’s owners and investors.
