You were once at a higher rank, and now find yourself in lower ranks that play the game badly.
Because of this, you’re so frustrated that you decide to not play your best because these teammates don’t deserve you at your best.
Pretty sure you’re trolling now, but in case you think this is sound logic, here’s where it falls down for me:
Playing badly because your teammates are probably bad is a self-fulfilling prophecy. You play badly causing them to play even worse, you lose, and you get to say “See? told you they are bad” It’s dumb
Not healing them teaches them a lesson? Nope. They avoid you and move on. The only person you’re being detrimental to is yourself in the long run. It’s dumb
Throwing matches sees you stay at the same rank or lower. Your match quality and teammate quality doesn’t get better. It’s dumb
Imagine if they actually didn’t play like how they did on Dorado. I’d be fine playing a ranked match where people are doing what they are supposed to and not wanting to be absolute clowns. I’m not going to Support that. I’m not going to do anything with that match. I’ll give my 10% in it, if that. If I could leave and not take a Season Ban, I would gladly do that.
But this makes no sense. Quite often I have teams that play a way I don’t like and I wish they didn’t. This was especially true when OW2 launched and I was thrown from Diamond in OW1 to Bronze.
So many terrible terrible teammates but I just naturally climbed playing how I normally play.
Pretty sure I didn’t enable anyone to keep playing badly by playing support well, no doubt a lot of them are still in Bronze playing the exact same way regardless of if they played with me or not.
Meanwhile I played well and no longer have to deal with them. What I didn’t do was throw enough to simulate being as bad as them, and have to keep playing with them and others like them.
Yes these matches are terrible, but why throw and keep yourself playing crap matches like this?
Pretty sure that the OP is trying to the best of their ability tbh.
They expected to come and post replay codes and have people say “What bots, you played so much better but were held back, matchmaker and teammates are to blame for your rank”
Then everyone said “you’re all as bad as each other” and in comes the lie of “I was throwing to teach them a lesson” because throwing from the moment the spawn doors open makes zero sense.
The matchmaker is quite bad right now, you’re right on that and it leads to a lot of inconsistency.
That said it’s not why people can’t climb. If you deserve to climb, you will. Yeah a lot of matches will be pain and it can very easily turn into loss streaks despite playing well but you will over enough matches climb.
So just for clarity’s sake the OP was leading with this replay code as their first example of Blizzard’s bad match making;
GET8QB
It was subsequently edited out of the original post after reviews and questions, followed by the OP lashing out and lying, including incorrectly calling me a troll. They have edited in a different code to the original post in which OP claims that they were deliberately throwing.
You threw, and now you’re complaining about the matchmaker, when you are 100 percent the problem here.
Because… you threw.
You realize you’ll end up in bronze if you do this?
And you even posted a replay of yourself… throwing. And have ADMITTED to throwing. You’re lucky we don’t all report your replay for your gameplay sabotage.
So the conclusion is that the matchmaker is terrible and puts you with bad teammates if you consistently throw or are genuinely as bad as said teammates. this forum is hilarious smh.
