I got plat 5 second last game I played on season 3 and when I came back to overwatch at season 4 it says that my last rank was gold 3. So I got a lot less competitive points and also lost my platinum player title. How do I fix this?

I have a friend who had the exact same issue! Not sure if it’s supposed to happen that way, but it’s worth getting an answer!
at the end of the season i was diamond 5 and it said i was plat 4 i tried to email support but they told me to come here
