Gotta disagree with Micro Missiles.
Theyâre a good supplement to D.Vaâs damage and even give her a poke, even if it does suck at range.
At the very least, they donât have damage falloff, and itâs free damage. Think of it as being damage boosted for, like, 2 seconds

Iâd have to disagree. If used at the right moment, and if the Winston knows how to juggle and take advantage of the jump cooldown resets, Primal Rage can completely turn games around.
Olâ Monkey Man is my favorite target to copy with Echo, just because of how strong his ultimate is.
The main problem is they are best used at point blank range where you can land the majority. You take self damage in the process though and what damage they do provide is minuscule with what other 8 second abilities can offer. Remember that micromissiles were what they added to justify removing half of DMâs uptime. Itâs not worth it at all now. Beyond all that, to have them land properly even at 5 meters away, you have to overcompensate your aim when firing them since they are projectiles and her fusion cannons are hit scan. Youâd be better off not using them at all and focus of aiming well with primary.
Its like doomfist ult â you can play ultra agresive and take value. Also boops from map or kill 200 hp people fast
I think the only good thing about micromissiles is that, you can use it while DMing, while you cant with your primary, its like attacking behind a shield
They donât change your aim at all. It literally is just free damage.
Even if you only do 40 damage with it, thatâs 40 damage you wouldnât have otherwise, which is usually a fairly big deal.
Also, they have pinpoint accuracy so if your crosshair is on the person, theyâll hit.
It does come in to play on the rare aggressive junkrat that is below 50 hp. Other characters like sigma are a million times better at the same thing but it is an upside
Iâm saying if you want to take advantage of the ability and not just outright waste it you need to overcompensate your aim. If only 3 hit then I guess that 12 or so damage is useful but not given how lackluster an ability that was intended to make her more lethal while justifying such a harsh dm nerf. Itâs inconsistent and best used in a way that makes little since given it has self damage. The damage is also split more heavily into direct hit damage vs splash so aiming at their feet isnât a good option either

Primal Rage just takes more pre-planning than most people seem to put into using it.
Like, if youâre idea is to just pop it, jump face first into the entire other team and flail about at random, yeah of course youâre going to do nothing but feed and die lol.
Putting it outside a doorway makes it impossible to see when walking out. It gives widow a good heads up and wallhack for flankers.
Shadowstep is the worst because standing still is suicide in this game
In context of the character, Venom Mine by far. Even though Micro Missiles seem bad, they add just enough damage to Dvaâs burst to secure kills, so they arenât that bad. In a vacuum, probably also, it is just so bad.
micro missiles, when youâre close you donât necessarily need them and they splash damage back to yourself, further away itâs only good to finnish people off thatâs low health and that doesnât happen too often because they are leading tracking projectiles that does low damage per missile.
so thereâs mostly just 1 scenario where they are ok at best at.
all the other abilities listed are are way better.
shadowstepping to avoid LOS or to get around is pretty nice, also now functions to save yourself from getting knocked off the map.
venom mine to spot flankers through walls or give you an edge against quick flankers is nice.
junk trap, lowkey a great ability where it can actually surprise catch a lot of really fast mobile flankers like doom, genji and tracer, itâs just hard to place correctly for the best effect.
Primal can be really good if you learn it.

But they do only a tiny bit of selve damage, and saying they are bad cause they canât kill a tracer on their own is like saying helix rockets are bad cause they cant 1 shot. Her rockets arenât meant to be used on there own there meant to be used with primary fire
If being able to see anyone who goes a certain flank route (on a twelve second cooldown) is better then giving you the ability to burst any 200 hp target very fast w/ boost+micro missiles+primary fire+melee. then idk wtf ow is.

Widowâs SMG is objectively the worst ability. Itâs literally suppose to be.
Primal is one of the best ults in the game, it heals monkey to 1000 hp, so he can go in really far. Also if you know how to juggle it can get 2+ kills or at least boop a few ppl out of position
