Notes for this match. Austria must win this match to have a chance to remain eligible for playoffs. Switzerland has yet to lose to either U.S.A or Canada, so winning is very important for them as well.

The match begins in 5 minutes!

i am for Helvetica in this game

Switzerland are the one team I haven’t seen yet, but considering they took a map off Norway, and how outclassed Austria looked yesterday (admittedly against the NA duo), I expect the Swiss to expose so many holes you mistake the Austrians for cheese

WTH is this gremlin he is holding?!

2.2% pick rate in OWL Stage 4 for Ana, a heavy tank friendly stage. That makes me sad, at least she’s getting playtime now

Ana and Lucio - i have never seen such support comp in OWL :open_mouth:
they fooled me, they switched XD

Those black and red Austria skins looks awesome. If I could buy World Cup skins, I’d buy all of them in a heartbeat.

Switzerland definitely has Control maps figured out.

Looks like it’s gonna be 1-1.

ok, cool - new version of Lunaizor Horror Colony … as i recall it was ‘older version’ in OWL till the end of season?

That is correct. OWL stayed on version 1.24 in the last stage Horizon was played.

Switzerland may exceed their goals this year!

Despite a strong showing from a team of mostly non-pros, Austria takes the match!

The next thread will begin here:

No offense at all is meant by this question but…

Is Eclipse from Austria trans? I ask because he was wearing what looked to my eyes as a girl’s haircut.

I am neither against nor for either answer to that question. But it just seemed so unusual to see a girl in competitive esports that I took notice when I saw the haircut. I was just beginning to think, “Good for her! Always nice to see women able to disprove the myth that girls are bad at games.” Only to hear the voice and realize that haircut aside most likely not a girl.

So, trans? Or just a really interesting choice of haircut?

He is a cis male from what I can tell. He is Austrian/Vietnamese dual citizen and is rather young at 15 of age, so maybe his appearance led you off?
