I’m finding myself really impressed with the composure of Taipei. They’re obviously not on the same level as Korea, but their ult economy seems fine, they’re trading in fights, and they’ve shown composure to only go in as a team even when delayed twice.
Taipei is giving us a show, but South Korea is still up 2-0

Korean viewers arent really happy today haha…
They are probably still hungover from the Contenders Korea final… which is a must watch if you have not already.
Without Carpe popping off this would be a completely different game
Carpe is playing freaking Mystery Heroes and is still winning.

Just thinking:
Oasis - Carpe turns on the heat in Gardens to prevent the shock result
King’s Row - Carpe delays the first Taipei attack twice, and forces Blue to take the Widow duel
And now this. Without Carpe this game would be very, very different
We are REALLY going to want to keep an eye on the Overwatch League Twitter feed in September and October.

Why?
Because that is the bulk of the Overwatch League trading cycle. Imagine if Carpe was traded to NYXL.
It seems like Taipei’s big weakness is defence. They do have enough clearly visible skill though that I think they might take some maps off the lower sides for sure
That was straight from the feast or famine playbook, I love it
Someone wanted Mercy dead bad, lol
Ground Barrage is my new name for Earthshatter popoffs lol.
Chinese Taipei gave a good show. I look forward to the rest of their group stage matches.

I’m glad they got at least a point every map. A solid performance that could have beaten a lesser side easily
