[Workshop Mode] Overworked - Overwatch Reworked A Bit Too Much

Heyo,
Oversight is a hero rework game mode that I’ve worked on, raising skill ceilings and opening up new hero playstyles, with some heroes even having new roles. It might be confusing at first, so make sure you’re keeping in touch with this forums page.
I’ll keep updates coming frequently, and any balance changes will be noted.

Tanks


D.Va

Mid-field Hybrid Tank Hero

(Mech)

[Hardcore] (Passive)

  • Eliminations earn an additional +5% ultimate charge

[Escape Plan] (Interact)

  • D.Va destroys her mech suit and launches herself high into the air

[Defense Matrix]

  • Using Defense Matrix over an ally will make them immune to damage as long as they’re in range

[Micro Missiles]

  • Every time a rocket deals damage, D.Va heals for that amount

(Pilot)

[Grappling Beam] (Ability 1)

  • D.Va attaches a long-ranged beam to a surface that pulls her towards it

[Big shot] (Ability 2)

  • D.va fires a large straight-flying projectile

Pharah

Air Raid Tank Hero

[Bird’s-Eye View] (Passive)

  • When Pharah deals damage, enemies are revealed to allies for a short duration

[Aegis] (Interact)

  • Pharah gains +200 shields and unlimited ammo and jet fuel for 6 seconds

[Hover Jets]

  • No vertical acceleration, but has a much larger fuel tank and recharge rate

[Concussive Blast] → [Missile Snares]

  • Pharah fires a short barrage of low-damaging missiles, rooting enemies in place for a short period of time

[Barrage] → [Pulse Storm]

  • Pharah fires a constant stream of Concussive Blast projectiles for several seconds, each dealing low amounts of damage

Reinhardt

Berserker Tank Hero

[Honour And Glory] (Passive)

  • When Reinhardt deals damage, it charges are resource meter for 30% of dealt damage. After 2 seconds out of combat, Reinhardt depletes the meter and heals for that amount

[Devotion] (Interact)

  • Reinhardt attaches a beam to an ally. That ally takes 40% less damage from all sources, and the damage is redirected to Reinhardt instead
    • Beam will automatically detach if either Reinhardt or the target ally dies or is 30m away
    • Hold Interact to automatically cancel the ability and start the cooldown

[Charge]

  • Reinhardt ramps up speed for 1.5sec, before charging at 200% speed

[Fire Strike]

  • Deals overtime burn damage for 5 seconds to enemies hit. Fire damage scales through Reinhardt’s ultimate charge (180 max damage when at 100% ultimate)
  • Projectile flies 25% slower

Roadhog

Bruiser Tank Hero

[Gluttony] (Passive)

  • Roadhog takes 50% less damage when above 80% health

[T-Bone Injector] (Interact)

  • Roadhog has 3 charges of healing an instant 120 health

[Take A Breather]

  • No longer heals, but creates a small field of toxic gas around him while it is active, inflicting nearby enemies with poison
    • Damage resistance has not been removed

[Whole Hog]

  • Eliminations during Whole Hog will charge +10% ultimate to its next usage

Winston

Sustain Tank Hero

[Aggravated] (Passive)

  • When taking damage, Winston gains a +30% speed boost for 2 seconds

[Anti-Gravity Bomb] (Interact)

  • Winston deploys an explosive at his feet that shortly explodes, damaging and lifting enemies up, lingering them in the air for a short duration

[Jump Pack]

  • Initial acceleration rate is lowered, but recharges faster when Winston deals damage

[Projected Barrier]

  • Winston creates an unbreakable forcefield around him for a short duration before deploying the initial barrier down

[Primal Rage]

  • Eliminations during Primal Rage will reset its duration
    • Initial duration is decreased


Damage


Ashe

Firebourne Damage Hero

[Fiery Rage] (Passive)

  • When burning, Ashe’s damage and move speed increases by 25%, and gains unlimited ammo
    • Ashe will also heal by 50% of dealt damage when burning
    • These effects can only trigger from Ashe’s own Dynamite

[Headhunt] (Interact)

  • Ashe fires a hypersonic ping around her that reveals enemies within 20m to all allies for 5 seconds

[The Viper]

  • Landing consecutive hits will ramp up in damage, resetting after 2 seconds of not hitting ashot
    • Lower ammo, and scope is disabled

[Coach Gun]

  • Lower recoil, but will stun enemies hit

[B.O.B.]

  • B.O.B. will throw enemies far behind him instead of directly upwards

Bastion

Cannon Sniper Damage Hero

[Configuration: Tank]

  • Bastion is always in Tank Configuration
  • Shells deal more damage the further they fly

[Reconfigure] → [Barrel Extension]

  • Hold to scope in, increasing accuracy of shots

[Energy Clusters] (Ability 2)

  • Bastion fires a projectile that creates 5 scattered energy cores, each exploding shortly

[Configuration: Chaos] (Custom Ultimate)

  • Bastion gains control of both his Recon and Sentry Configurations with additional move speed, damage and armour for the next 10 seconds

Echo

Thunderbird Damage Hero

[Rolling Thunder] (Interact)

  • Echo creates a moving thundercloud that constantly zaps the area below it with bolts of lightning
    • Once it reaches a max distance or hits a surface, the cloud fires one last thunderbolt that deals damage in a slightly larger area

[Sticky Bombs] → [Swoop]

  • Echo dives downwards at a diagonal angle. Upon hitting the ground, she damages nearby enemies and flies back upwards

[Duplicate] → [Bomblet Storm]

  • Echo fires a rapid series of Sticky Bombs for several seconds

Junkrat

Berserker Damage Hero

[Pyromania] (Passive)

  • Explosive attacks inflict a small amount of fire damage when Junkrat is at critical health

[Special Delivery] (Interact)

  • Junkrat rushes forward, dropping a multitude of Total Mayhem explosives behind him

[Concussion Mine]

  • Triggers immediately once thrown at Junkrat’s position, but recharges much quicker

[Steel Trap]

  • When triggering, it explodes and deals area damage to nearby enemies
  • The enemy who triggered it will be revealed to allies for several seconds

[RIP-Tire]

  • Tire moves naturally moves slower, but has a fuel resource meter
  • Holding [Ability 1] will consume fuel, making the Tire move much faster

Sombra

Virus Damage Hero

[Cheat Cartridge] (Passive)

  • Hacked health packs now heal allies to full health, restore ammo and hack nearby enemies when they’re picked up

[Glitch In The System] (Passive)

  • When Sombra falls below 50% health, she starts to occasionally flash invisible

[Hack]

  • Hacked enemies slowly lose ultimate charge and heal 50% less
    • Same effect applies to EMP

[Stealth]

  • When Stealth is active, Sombra moves faster, gain lower gravity and starts to regenerate health
  • No longer lasts infinitely; now only lasts 8 seconds before decloaking

[EMP]

  • Leaves behind a large hack zone behind for several seconds, hacking enemies inside the area

Tracer

Hit 'n Run Damage Hero

[Shock Rounds]

  • Tracer deals double damage to barriers, turrets and traps

[Hyperpulse]

  • Deploy an explosive energy pulse that shortly explodes, dealing large damage and stunning nearby enemies

[Recall]

  • Upon activation, Tracer pulls nearby enemies to her position and roots them

[Pulse Bomb]

  • Flies straight but slightly slower
  • Upon exploding, it knocks enemies up and stuns them slightly

Widowmaker

Crippling Damage Hero

[Felt More Alive] (Passive)

  • Killing blows heals Widowmaker for 75% health and grants a small speed boost

[Noxious Gas] (Interact)

  • Widowmaker shoots a gas canister, creating a field of toxic gas upon impact. Enemies inside the field take damage and heal 50% less health

[Widow’s Kiss]

  • Semi-auto is disabled; lower ammo clip size
  • Firing is increased to 1.25 seconds, but Widowmaker deals more damage and gains low gravity when scoping

[Venom Mine]

  • Enemies affected by the Venom Mine move 25% slower

[Infra-Sight]

  • While active, Widowmaker’s firing rate is normalized, and scoped ammo cost is decreased to 1 instead of 3

Zarya

Area Threat Damage Hero

[Knuckle Sandwich] (Melee)

  • Melee attacks deal more damage and knockback

[Power Surge] (Interact)

  • Zarya increases her damage and move speed by 40% for a short duration

[Particle Barrier] → [Combustion]

  • Zarya leaps and explodes, dealing large area damage to nearby enemies

[Projected Barrier] → [Bomb Flare]

  • Zarya casts an explosive flare on an ally, shortly exploding after cast, dealing large area damage to enemies around the target ally


Supports


Ana

Crippling Support Hero

[Airspring Boots] (Jump)

  • Ana has 5 charges of jumps that allow her to jump mid-air

[Supply Crate] (Interact)

  • Ana deploys a Supply Crate on the ground for any ally to pick up, healing 90 HP, refilling ammo and granting +15% ultimate to the ally who uses it
    • Ana cannot gain ultimate charge from her own Supply Crate

[Sleep Dart]

  • The next point of damage that wakes the sleeping enemy up is increased by 75%
    • e.g. A full-charged scoped body shot from Widowmaker deals 130 damage. If Widowmaker wakes the enemy up with that single shot, then it becomes amplified to deal an additional 75% damage

[Biotic Grenade]

  • Ana throws many Biotic Grenades at once, each dealing less damage and healing

[Nano Boost]

  • Grants the target ally an additional +30% ultimate charge

Baptiste

Tactical Support Hero

[Band-Aid] (Passive)

  • When Baptiste falls below 30 health, Baptiste heals to full health and gains immunity for a short period of time
    • There is a small time frame before the passive activates. If Baptiste is killed during this time frame, then Band-Aid will not activate

[Springboard] (Interact)

  • Baptiste deploys a launch pad at his position for all allies to use, launching players far into the direction they’re facing
  • Lasts infinitely, and its cooldown will only start when destroyed
    • Pressing Interact again will deactivate the Springboard
    • Enemies can destroy it by punching the board

[Biotic Launcher]

  • Healing bombs automatically refill when not in use for 2 seconds

[Regenerative Burst]

  • Grants a 25% speed boost to allies healed by it
    • Speed boost will only apply if healing. If allies are at full health, they will not receive the speed boost

Brigitte

Bruiser Support Hero

[Spirit] (Passive)

  • Upon death, Brigitte heals all nearby allies for 125 HP
    • Healing doubles if Brigitte dies while using Rally

[Endeavor] (Interact)

  • Brigitte grants all nearby allies 50 temporary armour for 10 seconds

[Whip Shot]

  • Brigitte has 2 charges of her Whip Shot
  • When landing a hit, Brigitte is pulled towards the enemy, and the enemy is rooted for a small duration

[Rally]

  • When Rally ends, Brigitte gains Repair Packs based on the amount of damage she dealt

Soldier: 76

Combat Medic Support Hero

[Heavy Pulse Rifle]

  • Critical hits will gain +2 ammo points
  • Automatically reloads after Sprinting for 2 seconds

[Helix Rockets] → [Vitality Grenade]

  • Soldier: 76 fires an arcing projectile that creates a small healing field on impact for a short period of time

[Biotic Field] → [Emergency Care]

  • Soldier: 76 heals a single ally over a short period of time. Healing amount doubles if the target is at critical health

[Tactical Visor] → [Tactical Airdrop]

  • Soldier: 76 calls in a powerful supportive airdrop that creates a healing field, constantly growing in size over a long period of time

Symmetra

Utility Support Hero

[Energy Drain] (Passive)

  • Killing blows heal Symmetra 60 HP and drain 10% ultimate from the enemy

[Thunderbolt] (Interact)

  • Symmetra summons a bolt of lightning from the sky, striking down shortly in an area, dealing large damage and stunning enemies hit

[Sentry Turret] → [Photon Charger]

  • Symmetra shares 20% of her ultimate charge to an ally and heals them 125 HP

[Teleporter] → [Phasing Field]

  • Symmetra creates a large field of lightweight energy, allowing allies to float through like a bridge
    • This can be destroyed by EMP

[Photon Barrier]

  • While active, the barrier grants global healing to all allies
