Sure but the floor clipping is related to crouch+GA, not in the super jump
you can’t do one without the other though, the only possible way to activate superjump without a target above you requires you to clip to the floor
Nothing is perfectly fine.
It would not be game breaking or mercy breaking whether super jump is kept or removed, but on the basis of:
…means it should be removed. Stop the Mercy favoritism.
That’s exactly the point, visual conveyance of hitboxes broke. But that’s not tied to superjump.
This is right. Crouch + GA, and Crouch + wait while crouched + GA both clip into the ground. It’s completely separate from superjump.
You can though. You can clip right into the floor just by holding crouch and GA-ing to a teammate. Whether or not you time them at the same time is irrelevant.

Debatable. And it doesn’t matter, if it is a bug but improves the game, keep it.
Mercy doesn’t need it removed either.
Case by case basis.
Stop witch hunting.
the clipping is not as extreme as with glide, however, the point stands you cannot superjump without clipping unless there’s no floor below you, not the other way around
topic title is misleading. It’s only been “confirmed” by OP. Haven’t seen a bluepost yet
It being a bug is not even a question.
It also doesn’t improve the game except for Mercy.
As I said, on the basis that it’s a bug, it should be removed.
Yes, this case being one that have the bug fixed.
It’s hilarious when a privileged hero acts like a victim when people want things to be FAIR.
So much arguing, look, all Blizzard has to do is make crouching slower, either globally or Mercy specifically. That alone could be used to diminish it or at their choice; completely remove it.
What is funny to me is that so few have realized the power of a Super Jump Resurrection. That is the only reason to consider it being removed, although nothing is funnier in OW than rezzing over the enemy’s heads.
Not having it deleted after over a year while other similar bugs have been found and removed is effectively keeping it as a feature. The fact that you guys can’t understand this is borderline sad.
Stop jumping on bandwagons because the child otherwise known as xQc cried on the internet.
you can come up with as many conjectures as you want but ignoring a bug is never making it a feature by default, as a matter of fact fixing is so complicated that they might have been putting it off, nothing else
That’s simply false lol. No need to rebuttal.
I highly doubt removing it is so complex that it takes over a year.
You’re grasping at straws.
Honestly, whether it’s a bug or not is mostly irrelevant to me. I don’t think it should be removed due to how balanced Mercy is currently. I’m concerned the removal of it could potentially start the buff / nerf rollercoaster once again for her.
and that’s fine though this thread was made specifically to discuss that
Yet you’re the one who thinks that ignoring a bug is making it into a feature
It’s like you actually think you have a point. I love it.
This can go nowhere with someone like you though. Have a good day
I understand that. I’m not arguing against your thread or anything like that at all. But I was mostly posting my thoughts about it, since people have already brought up its removal as a possible solution. Which, I don’t really think is a wise decision that could ultimately start back up the mercy balance changes every darn patch when she’s currently in a pretty solid spot.
I think the main reason of these complaints are because XQC complained about it cause before that i never even seen a single post about it.
same to you, naturally, getting called out on your bs is hitting a key point but yep, hope your day is great
XQC is definitely the one who got the discussion about super jump started. There’s not really a doubt in my mind about that.
I do think there can be valid discussion about it without pandering to those who are just looking for it to be removed because XQC got mad at it. How the discussion started doesn’t really matter so much to it, but talking about it and what is or isn’t right going forward can be useful.
Obviously, I think it should stay. But I can understand how or why others might feel differently.
