Easy explain:

I believe there will be serious consequences on the interest in connecting in OW2. Coin prices are really huge for the weekly offering, and quite unbalanced for the individual content.

  • Personalization canceled completely: new gamers who absolutely do not want to spend anything will be immediately recognizable, they will be those who have standard in-game skins. - - Useless amount of content: All this huge variety of choices previously justified by a random drop system is literally useless if there are people who want to save all 560 coins of the season for a legendary skin. If you buy a voiceline or an icon you are literally an idiot who has spent precious coins on one of the most useless contents.
  • Events: We already know that Halloween terror will last 2 weeks: if there are even just 3 legendary skins, why would people be interested in connecting if they literally don’t have the option to buy 1 skin that costs 200 coins?
  • Collectors will disappear: if it is true that the shop is not a place that many people use to buy content that does not interest them, many causal gamers have however established a specific interest in collecting skins throughout the heroes gallery, one of the key parts to take an interest in continuing to accumulate XP points.
  • “Poor” profiles: many people consider their accounts precious due to the amount of exclusive skins obtained over time, and the buff given to OW2 security contributes more to not being toxic players who risk losing a precious OW2 profile. But here there are heavy limits to collecting despite the fact that there is already an “ongoing” deal in encouraging the expense of the seasonal battle pass every 2 months.

without a random drop (maybe ONLY by passing the exp levels and not selling lootboxes) all these gallery contents are useless. Absolutely useless and not interesting even for those who do not buy the battle pass, which was already an excellent continuous solution of paid content. defining rarities here is absolutely not suitable.
