It’d be an oversight. Some people might not like to play some heroes and might for example focus on the B-plot with Zarya, Sombra, or the levels where you play Talon.
If there are levels with Ashe or Hanzo, I would want to start with those.

They aren’t cancelling it. It’s going to be pretty much the schedule they have been saying. PvP Beta in the Spring, full launch about a year later. I think OW1 will go F2P when the OW2Beta releases (if not before).
You have a better chance of being struck by lightning, you specifically not someone in the world at some time, than OW2 being cancelled.
we shall see. I think your wrong though they have MUCH bigger problems right now than overwatch 2.
i doubt it but i feel there will be delays till kotick and some people from the wow and diablo teams are gone

I think you may have missed the board of directors meeting where they said expect no products for 2022…
I think it’s more of a “Will it be good?” sort of situation.
Let’s face it, Activision-Blizzard hasn’t had a legitimate win since the initial release of Overwatch: everything else has been sub-optimal or down-right poor in quality.
My guess is Overwatch 2.0 will be released, but it’s not going to live up to the expectations both the devs and the remaining playerbase have.

The board does the firing. It is unlikely the government will come in and strip them of their titles or assets. Kotick might be in trouble though but hes not a part of the board.

I’ll believe it when i see it. My guess is the board will just decide to fire Kotick and some other executives who haven’t done enough to fix the internal issues.
Canceled no. I highly doubt it. It may however be rushed to release and they just dump what ever they have done in our laps. Much like Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76 and other such messes.

there would have to be people with in the wow and diablo teams that would need to be fired as well though kotick and some with in the wow and diablo teams are the problems at blizzard
I believe Overwatch 1 was the remnants of a failed game. But yeah, I’m not sure why anyone should feel confidence about Overwatch 2 at the moment. There’s so much we don’t know and an awful lot of bad things that we do. 
No they do not. For a company there is no bigger problem than making money. As it stands they are not about to throw away over a hundred million dollar investment because they have other things to do when nothing precludes them from doing both. You have a better of walking on the moon. It is not how our world is.
They are protecting the stock price. Cancelling OW2 would in effect be tanking the stock price which is the priority of any corporation.
Honestly at this point i hope but they probably wont, since theybe allready sunk so much into it
