You have 11 hours on Widowmaker.
You also have such a fancy shiny matchmaking badge I don’t even recognize it.
If her mine brought people down to 1 HP then wouldn’t that mean if a mercy pocketed you while you were under the effects you would keep taking damage? Also tanks just get screwed. The mine is fine atm, you just throw it in front of an enemy shield and it detonates.
TBH I read that long *ss post and it had so many superfluous words in it that it was hard to dechipher anything meaningful

It is with regret that I must say that you’re wrong, but you’re entitled to your own opinions.
And for that, I hope both of us get what they are looking for. The only way for that to happen is to have a completely new sniper hero that has a fun kit for you, while I get to keep the Widow I loved to play over the course of this game’s lifespan.
It’s the only fair scenario that leaves both of us satisfied.

She could be adjusted just a little bit and if done cleverly, you wouldn’t even really notice.
The idea of a completely new sniper hero is a good one, I support that.

I’m willing to admit my faults as a human being, and yes, I am selfish, egoistic, self-centered and I like attention. I still bought a golden gun for her. I demand a refund or compensation. I’m willing to accept being noticed by Blizzard and having Widowmaker reworked as a valid compensation.

Realistically speaking, its more likely you would get a new hero. The majority prefers widow the way she is.

I bought a golden gun for her and I don’t like being railgunned as a squishy.
I want Widowmaker to be challenging, not a strict choice between a menace or 200 ult charge.
She’s just not fun to play even AGAINST at lower tiers. While the opinion of “she doesn’t have to cater to lower tiers” has place to be, a complete shutdown of anything I have to say isn’t welcome either.
I don’t get you. You’re so obsessed with this idea of changing her kit. Like you just hate her and wan’t to ruin fun for everyone, seriously, why? I think that about 50% of Overwatch heroes are not fun to play, but I don’t scream around “rework Junkrat”. Also, you brought up the lore, then if we gonna do everything by lore, then scatter should stay, Genji should deflect Hanzos ult when Dragons already flying etc.

Because her reputation in lower tiers is atrocious.
I want her to be at least a bit more viable there.
There are lots of things at play you can tweak, but you have to be open.
If you dont enjoy her playstyle/kit dont play her, its that simple dudebro.
Venom mines are great for alerting you when your backs turned and someones trying to flank you since once your scoped your area of visibility is reduced.
Her hook is useful for hookshots, getting to bette ground, speeding her up in general (ex, need ro get with your team quickly? Hook the ground infront of you and go flying forewards)
We just gonna ignore voicelines or…
Despite her being able to perfectly snipe that omnic rights dude because she knew Tracer wouldnt risk breaking her chromosome excellerator? Despite her catchphrase being one shot one kill? Despite her still being in talon which means she clearly has use? (or whatever its called)
Its like shes a sniper and her headshot damage is much higher than most heros.
Its useful if you actually use it correctly, as an alarm its great, you cant constantly be aware of everything when your trying to snipe the pharmercy
If you drop it on someone while there attacking an ally it gives your ally an advantage, just like it gives you an advantage im a 1v1, it also for a moment shows you where they are through walls.
