So she’s niche? Isn’t that to be expected from a roster with 17 heroes in it? They can’t all be used all the time. The problem at the moment is McCree covers both his and Ashe’s niche of mid-range (plus his strength at close range). With that many heroes in the roster they HAVE to be niche.
Widowmaker has the range to make her untouchable at any range outside of an outright mirror. The devs have made it very clear that they do not like the ONLY viable answer to a hero being their exact mirror. 90% of the DPS roster is locked to either be map specific or comp specific. That’s how they need to be designed with that many heroes. It would be the same if there was 17 tanks/supports.
