Im reporting this as a bug.
We had a leaver and the message clearly states you will not get any penalty if you leave. Just the loss of normal points. So why do I get a temp ban for leaving a game???
Fix it!

wait… I lost 50 points. So do I become the ‘leaver’ if he comes back even though it says you wont receive a penalty if you leave now??? That’s even more broken!!!
If the person came back before you left, then it cancels your chance to forfeit the game without getting a penalty.
No - I left right after the leaver. Im seeing a couple other posts about this same thing rn.
If you left the game right after he left, and didn’t wait for the timer to finish (so you can leave without penalty), then you’ll get a temp ban.

Yeah. Simple rule is if the timer is still there you will get full penalties.
Unfortunately, there is also a bug that if you leave when you get ‘no penalties’, you will get only single-digit SR for winning your next game (sometimes called the ‘1 SR bug’ even though it could be any small number). So I don’t recommend leaving anyway.
