Yes you. Yes so much this. I keep telling this guy it isn’t random and he just keeps saying it’s random. Like just saying it enough times will make it true.
I do agree it is not random, just to a lit bit too hard to mess up.
And to the people saying that orb is OP I would say that all the healers have some form of utility. Zen has damage orb, Mercy has res, Ana has nade and sleep dart, Lucio has speed and an ult that can negate other ults, Baptiste has immortality field. Brigitte has… (just kidding, a stun at least) What does Moira have? She is just healing and damage.
That’s why I believe that nerfing her damage/healing numbers is not the solution. If anything just increase the gap of a good moira and a bad one. Reward better placed orbs and punish more that spring jumper LMB that somehow gets a kill while looking a the opposite direction with a POTG.
In fact, I do believe most of the Moira hate comes from DPS moiras thinking that they’re hotshots by picking POTG with 10 gold medals while letting the team to its doom and losing the game altogether. I just faced 3 of them right now.
You do realize that it’s not like a grenade right? It doesn’t do 200 damage to every target it touches, that damage is divided up between all the targets it touches. throwing it into a crowd is actually a terrible use for the orb. You do know this right?
Considering it will make 100% use of the orb (doing 200 damage), wouldn’t it be the best ult charger?
