Why Oct 4 release date

Who decided to release a new game on a Tuesday. You suck. Put it out on a Saturday so I can no life it all weekend.

Yeah, but I can’t really do that as much as I wanted to, as apearently the workshop will not be launching will OW2 :unamused:

Tuesday release is the industry standard. Dunno why, that’s just how it do.

If I had to guess, it’s to reduce competition with movies (Thursday/Friday) and TV shows (mostly weekend), and to possibly give devs time to identify and bug fix before the weekend.

Probably so the servers don’t crash, or not as many people need to wait for queues to get into the client. Old school players will remember this:
