For a start, we’re on the opposite sides of the world, and would greatly confuse newcomers to Battle Net on what servers they’ll be connecting to. Why not have Oceania servers be separate on the server selection list?
Also, I’m almost positive this isn’t something that’s my own issue, but, since I first got Overwatch in 2016 very slowly my in-game ping has been getting worse, but only in the past year have I noticed this.
Previously on Australian servers, I would be getting 40-60ms when everything is running fine, nowadays my average ping on a good day is about 80ms and I constantly get spikes up to 250ms with crazy rubber banding.
I know you’ll say “sounds like a you problem” but I can, and have, gone on to a different online game (won’t say which) and get my normal 40ms ping. It is very odd.
