All of the old content would be such an amazing thing to allow the creators to use while making fun new game modes.
Everything is just sitting there unused…all of the Null Sector/Talon bots you could from PvE, PvE maps, versions of older heroes/abilities, pre rework maps, training bots(?) etc. Just SO many things people can use to make their own stories and fun games.
Has there been an explanation on why they don’t add these sorts of things to the custom game mode?
Workshop in general. It’s a lot of resources for potentially no payback but I think I’ll definitely server the casual community to allow people to make modes, and then for blizzard to promote those modes and allow people to complete challenges etc.
there was that thing a long time ago with the actual blizzard company that got burned by allowing assets to its playerbases. thats how dota 2 was made? i think…
became more successful than warcraft. after that they never wanted to make that mistake again. maybe one of the reasons?
