Why isnt one tricking seen as an issue?

There’s a difference really. Zen isn’t going to be someone that you ask a random support player to use or even ask “are you a good zen?” But a good zen is going to be really good because people underestimate him.

I actually liked the idea of hero bans at every level of comp because it started to bring some variety to the game now there gone again I’m running into one trick genji and reaper and even bastions everywhere and I can’t be bothered anymore I say bring back hero bans or bring in a ban/protect system like call of duty to make things more interesting

Hero pools don’t stop people from one tricking at all. Their hero got banned a week? Cool go to an alt account or just take a break and continue to one trick. At least with ban/protects of some kind players need to go into comp with an understanding that they’ll need to be flexible in some way at least.

Another one of these posts? 4 years of this game and 4 years of forum posters complaining about “one tricks” lmao.

Sheeeeesh move on. One tricks keep the game interesting

I liked the idea but the execution was awful.
The only way a bans would work is the way that was asked for.
Decided by the players.
I get why they didn’t want to add it but the reasons they gave were not solved by their poor attempt.
Also yeah, it doesn’t stop one tricking, Unless you don’t know the bans going into the game.

Its more complaining about the contradictory philosophy used to justify the acceptance of one tricks.

And no, they don’t keep the game interesting. Not where I play at least.
Maybe where mata means literally nothing the story is different.

My elo is full of nothing but one tricks I feel like every game is the same just on a different map lack of variation and fighting the same hero’s every time gets really boring the next time I have the enemy team have the game saved by reaper pressing Q once I’m going to lose my mind
