there’s literally 0 problems with widowmaker literally none.
why are you complaining so hard to get a hero nerfed when one shots have been in fpf games for soooo long.
As long as balancing is the same on both sides I might as well.
Naw she’s busted af, she needs hard nerfs or a hard counters. Widow players are legit getting away with murder. Widow is legit holding MANY players hands right now because none are currently taking any sort of risk for max reward nor do they have to worry about any counter play. There’s literally A LOT wrong with widow. Stop being delusional so you can keep getting by some widow.

I would be fine with respecting her sightlines, but currently you have no way to know her sightlines unless you see her standing somewhere, which is risking death. Her sightlines are regularly changing without any visual or audio information at range. It’s not possible to consistently stay in an area she won’t have LOS (by silently flanking, hook shotting, etc) without effectively staying in spawn.

When she shoots a bright red tracer is left behind and there’s a big sound cue. Her shots are loud.
Your allies automatically yell “Sniper! Keep your heads down!” When there’s a widow nearby.
These two things aren’t even factoring in if you heave teammates in Voice chat that will actually communicate

otherwise her one shot is perfect for rewarding her/the player with their skills
stop asking for an easy mode and learn how to play widow or counter her with monkey or hammond

Just give her scope a laser sight visible to the enemy(only when scoped). Turn it off during her ult.

You won’t see a red tracer without risking your own life. Not worth it.
“Enemy has a sniper” doesn’t tell anything about her position apart from her existing at all.
Widow can usually reposition without anyone in your team being able to notice.
All widow haters makes it sound like they are playing vs GM+ wm everygame

She just has one hook. She’s not that mobile. Most flankers who are persistent can get to a lone-Widow. The key is her team protects her and peel.
If you’re dying to Widow you need to either use a barrier, pay attention to her sightlines, ensure your team is taking steps to actually do something about it.
Any time I see someone struggling with a Widow this is usually the case.
They have tanks that don’t use barriers at all. No tank to dive her. No flankers to dive. No range to pressure her. They continuously walk in the open instead of using the map to disadvantage her. Or they just ignore her and let her do whatever she wants.
She’s a sniper and needs to be treated like one. Suppress fire, or invade her nest. It’s really that simple.
You think Widow only has one Con? That’s laughable.
They won’t need Hanzo/Widow because they think those dumb heroes help with OWL viewership. Because according to them people like watching those stupid sniper duels.

She does only have one con and that is the charge time on her headshots.

I hate to break it to you but she’s not broken. And just cause someone’s good with her doesnt mean that she’s broken. Plus, she has more counters than you’d like to knowledge.

Is it…? 0_o As far ults go having a friendly Infrasight is never a bad thing. Completely stops flanks/suprises for a while and forces you to not peak when you know the Widow is shooting elsewhere because someone else is probably waiting for you (or even the widow just flicking between two spots).
Play her. Really. If you don’t respect the amount of skill/practice it takes then maybe at least you’ll learn a bit about how to counter her.
The only time she becomes broken is when someone is using an aimbot… lol. And it’s honestly more than you realize.

No, no they cannot. People rarely play Genji, in part because everyone’s meta-religious. Hanzo doesn’t have the range, and even if he can manage, they’ll just run both Widow and Hanzo and the team that doesn’t run both gets completely rolled.
