Iām not justifying it, just voicing my opinion on what causes the irritability. I play loads of PvP games, and nothing boils my blood like Overwatch (not that Iām abusive to others, but I do turn the game off in a worse mood than when I started without fail).
Every other game I feel like I had the experience I was wanting, and losses feel like my fault and something I can learn from to get better in future. Overwatch is just a coin flip of who gets the most cooperative teammates or at worst the least disruptive ones.

I wasnt implying you were justifying it my bad for bad wording. What i mean is why did it have to go this far? The coinflip mechnanic of abusive players. I guess im just expecting too much from people nowadays to be decent humans.
Like I say, I think it is genuinely the most frustrating gaming experience Iāve ever had. Inflict that on someone with less maturity/self control/ empathy or whatever and itās going to send them frothing at the mouth.

because those are the only players that are left playing this game. toxic, addicted, neurotic crybabies that have little to no self-reflection, say skill issue to everything, have counterswap as their trump card and blame everyone but themselves. they will always pick and choose the way of making the game miserable for anyone else, even in quickplay, especially when theyāre getting diffed. they laugh sadisticly if they manage to ruin your game and are the ones typing gg at the end of a one sided match. they would never want 6v6 to be a thing. they have all the skins in the game because they donāt have anything in life to spend money on, in fact, they donāt have a life, they have rich parents, theyāre spoiled kids with woke tendencies. they infest the overwatch forums as a second hobby.
You can thank the restrictive chat system for that.

Yes it was. Perhaps you were playing safe characters, but this has been going on since the beginning. People gonna peep.

I have no idea either. A hero that does not trigger people. Reaper even during historical periods where he has sucked is immune from criticism on console. I do not understand the reason. All I know is that if you pick specific characters, you are more likely to trigger your teammates. Playstyle also matters.
If you sit like a good girl and hold shield, nobody will say anything even if you throw. If you take space and they refuse to help you because they believe 4 in a capture point that only requires 1 is the strategyā¦ You are the problem.
Itās been happening since 2016. People crying about how Widowmaker does not touch the objective or pretending as if speed boost is somehow inferior to heal song. It is best to just ignore them and save yourself the migraine.

if its indiviual performance based, no one will get mad even if they lose. because they could rankup even after a loss, esp when it isnāt ur fault.
blame blizzard for creating such a toxic ranking system
donāt blame the players, they are just trying to win but they have bad /trolls/feeders teammates that make them lose sr and de-rank.
when the game is bad people are mad, is that simple, balance is so bad and ow2 new modes are terrible
