Then I’d get it fixed, or play on a keyboard that had the button.
Brood, because I’d no longer be able to annoy the lobby with my obnoxious voice lines
I disable comms entirely AS SOON as I get put into a match. It wouldn’t affect me
All of your points aside from the last one are options that you as an individual have control over. You cannot control the way in which others choose to play. Just because someone is in voice chat doesn’t mean that they can hear you OR the obnoxiously loud sound cue of ShadowStep.
Stop crying and counter him, if Bap tried to kill reaper and failed maybe cause he didnt HS him or his aim was just bad mate
Of course if you play Junkrat/Genji and the ennemy suddenly take pharah you are going to get rekt cause nobody can legit couter her and react to switch before he dies.
You just get rolled its okay it happens to all of us, so you move on and you switch to counter him
Rein main btw
Reaper is just an example of bad balancing, they could fix him but it might make him useless cause the team to balance struggles with so many other things.
The only times I’ve had a reaper just capitalize was when my team just kinda let him. They ignored him flanking and when he’d have ult and don’t want to switch to counter him. Other than that I’ve never had a reaper completely dominate with decent team coordination. Like Idk what your team was doing ?
Boop him and call him out. The boop puts him outside his optimal and his vampire is based on damage. Lucio’s 4-second cooldown knockback can stuff a Reaper flank almost by itself.
You diverting the subject of the availability and impact of a tool its pointless dude, you already lost that. The point here is that many people complain about Reaper without using ALL the tools available to either get rid of him or warn the team mates of his presence.
Saying that VC doesnt critically impact that or is not brutally better than anything else (because dont lie, in the middle of a fight you cant hear him 100% ANYWHERE) its simply false. Its not going to become true ad nauseam.
You can also choose to play with Dance music on, high volume, but then complaining you didnt hear Reaper behind or anyone on comms is stupid. Period.
Not sure what your SR is but I’m kind of feeling like you may have been in my game … for… reasons…
Regardless of that though, I will say, I am no DPS main. I’m a support main but decided to try out DPS yesterday. I spammed reaper and the results I got with him are insane. I admittedly did play with some friends who were low gold - silver and those were some of the easiest games I’ve ever played.
Positing played a role, sure. But, overall, I truly was able bulldoze my way through teams as reaper. Something to note too is my skill in aiming is not the strongest. With that being the case, I was actually surprised by how easy it was to roughly make my shots and almost immediately melt down supports, tanks, and DPS.
Again, I was playing with gold-silver whereas I’m a high gold - plat player; but, recognize the abuse of power you could potentially wield with him in those ranks.
Wasn’t going to reply anymore but bronze? Seriously? Add me on discord and I’ll screencap and show you my ranks throughout the seasons. I’ll proudly show and prove to you my seasons of masters, GM, and top 500, and even my early platinum and diamond days while I was improving!
You also apparently can’t read to properly understand I don’t actually solo Reaper as support. Ignoramus.
Well yea sadly you are not in my games. Thing about Reaper vs Tank is that no other match up makes you reliant so much on your DPS. You can deal with pretty much anything else … if only by not getting close. But with all these buffs it is impossible to keep your distance at all times. You 100% rely on your DPS to peel from you and that is a problem IMHO.
The point is, prior to 222 I could react to my team ignoring their reaper and deal with it myself - i.e. by switching to Mei. Now you automatically lose if you have locked tank and your team choses to not deal with it.
I think the real question here is “Why is it so hard to get teammates that coordinate well together?” lol Reaper ain’t hard to take out as long as the team isn’t as oblivious as OP’s situation.
You could just go Hog and combo him to hell and back, as well. It is annoying that he is more or less the only choice. But you are not doomed. If he gives you THAT much trouble, it might be a hero worth learning.
