If one tricking was bannable I would be banned since Season 4. Cause 90% of my gameplay was Mercy.
Show the part in the rules that says you cant play just one hero all the time.
Any hero is worthwhile, maybe its you that isnāt creating an opening for that hero to excel.
You want to ban one tricks, I suppose by this you are ok with the state of this game with smurfs/de-rankers/throwers etc⦠but lets jump on one tricks instead as they seem to ruin your game experience more then anything elseā¦
Safe space is coming.
Ever heard about that thing where thereās 1 sheep and 2 wolves and majority rules what theyāre going to eat for dinner? Whoās going to protect the minority here? Just because the majority in that game thinks something doesnāt mean itās true.
There is an amazing video of Chro talking exactly about that, he made it during the heat of Fuey500 bans.
I was looking for that post on the old boards. Cheers. offers a cigar
There is a good one from Potato as well, but that is more on the side of rant than argument. Still worthy listening to.
I totally agree with that
my alt just got banned for one tricking genji even though i had a really high w/r
so stupid
Because almost every character has a way to engage x hero.
Or this too. Like this post.
Or they donāt want to try.
They are so set that they can only play that one character, that they make it that way.
There are plenty of characters with differnet playstyles. If they canāt find more that they are even willing to attempt, thatās on them.
You donāt have to have 2 hours a day to play the game⦠you can still be able to play multiple charactersā¦
Itās not just for āpeople who laze about at homeā
If I one trick and switch⦠are you going to then be upset that Iām not good at another character? Because that very well may happen. You arenāt going to accuse me of throwing, are you?
Well Iāve tried to play hitscan (by hitscan I mean pharah counters) and I just canāt. Believe me, Iāve tried, and every time it does not end well. So whenever someone asked me to switch to counter pharah I have to tell them that and sometimes they get mad at me for something I canāt control all that much.
because it shouldnāt be
You are just being ignorant if you want to ban people for playing only one hero. I play sym only in comp and I had to listen to a lot of bullsh1t from people like you but I just kept climbing so never played with them anymore. In GM there is not many ppl saying anything anymore and itās way less toxic overall.
what iām refering to is getting really good at multiple characters, some people have lots of free time and even they canāt do more than one subsection of characters justice.
iām not saying you canāt play multiple characters if you have not much time, iām saying you canāt get as good as you would be if you focused on only one.
itās simply experience with the game and the characters themselves.
i mean i highly doubt that xqc can play widowmaker to the same level he does winston, and heās spent a lot of time with the game.
but i think heās still not awful at widowmaker, just not as good.
time = experience = skill. itās a simple statement that things takes time to learn.
even bruce lee had a quote.
āI fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.ā
Ban someone for buying a game then playing the hero they enjoy.
Thatās some 140 IQ logic right there buddy.
Blizzard does it⦠So, I guess they are a really intelligent company.
bc this is ladder not owl. I get 56% winrate as Ashe OTP in goats era and reach my 1st gm.
Oh, you have high winrate because you obviously swap out of Genji when you start to lose, to save your stats.
Or, at least, thatās what everyone in my team said when I used to main Symmetra. How someone can āone trickā and āswap to manipulate statsā at the same time, I have no idea.
They will.
Either because you should had swapped earlier, or because just selecting the hero they donāt like ākilled the team moraleā.
IMO, if either way the team is already doomed, then I would prefer to play what I want to play, thank you.
