Why is Mizuki shooting watermelons, bruh?

I’ve been getting tagged by this character nonstop in my games, and I’m just like, damn, ok, these Mizuki players are just a different breed then, huh?

And ugh, yeah, no. Just no. These Mizuki players are, in fact, not those god-tier gamers that I thought them to be as I went into the training range and took a look at his primary fire, “Spirit Gaive.” And ugh, yeah, would you look at that, he’s literally shooting out tracer-sized projectiles.

Can this kind of stuff just not be a thing? Supports are already babied enough as is. :baby: :baby_bottle:

They need to sell his skin tomorrow.

Everything is related to selling skins in Overwatch - do you want Mizuki to look good and can get shots ?

$$$ is all they care about - time for you to pick up Mizuki and ride the wave till the next FOTM hero/skin they decide to sell.

For one, the practice range isn’t the best place to determine that something is OP. It’d be weird if you weren’t hitting everything there.

Second, yeah, they’re pretty large, but they aren’t that high of dps and hitting them directly factors into healing output

They’re more like disks. They have little to no vertical height but are longer horizontally so they can be trick to hit headshots with in game. His projectiles also move rather slowly at 60 m/s, so hitting enemies that are further away or highly mobile is more challenging that any hitscan and most other projectiles. For comparison, most other projectile heroes like Hanzo, Mei, and Kiri have over 90 m/s travel time on their projectiles and a rounder hitbox making them easier to headshot with if you’re aiming at their upper chest/neck.

When it comes to aiming in this game, hitscan have it the easiest by a significant margin.

If you can’t beat the guy who deals 85 DPS and half his damage can’t headshot, I don’t think Mizuki’s projectile size is the problem

Yeah, I honestly couldn’t care less.

I’m over here getting chained and the Mizuki that did it is over here flailing like a headless chicken, not even hitting my character’s silhouette and still getting the kill. Like, brother…

It’s to compensate for the facts that his DPS is straight piss and that he needs to land those shots for good heals. Don’t get me wrong, he’s probably OP right now but I think there are bigger problems than his projectile size.

It’s like genji’s right click with 0 fall off.

The Larry players tried to gaslight me too, and they got what was coming to them. :raising_hands:

I’d lower the projectile size but increase his range, the current size is just pretty egregious. Especially when compared to Kiriko and Ana.

The thing is, I honestly 100% agree with you there.

I stopped playing with her quite some time ago and just went back to Tracer.

I don’t like cheese mechanics and her “E” is just completely BS.

I like the icon though, so it shall stay. :hugs:

one of the many questions about this game, like, why can symmettra put down a teleporter and put her turret on it so that the turret goes through the other side and you cant shoot the turret, you have to destroy the teleporter which has 5 times as much health?

Oh we are going to pretend … I mean … no one is actually going to say it ?
Like … its a Support that has a heal aura that depends on damage so they had to many a reliable way to “spam” for chip damage?

… woops :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

PS: Yeah same reason why Moira’s beam is so thick and almost impossible to miss with lol

That’s false

It would seem like a correct strat

… but Mercy, Sombra, and a few others got many skins while being absolute trash

It’s actually one third of his damage.

Additionally, it’s 85 damage per second based on his accuracy and his passive self healing rate (up to 15 healing per second). So if the average accuracy is 30% it’s under 30 damage per second. Against a Soldier with an accuracy of 30%, he deals 51 damage per second and loses and additional 15 points due to Mizuki”s self healing to 36 damage per second. It isn’t that quite lopsided.

There’s other factors too, but I’ll leave it at that.

His primary isn’t great, but this isn’t his only method to improve his passive healing. Any action he takes will improve it, including using his alternative healing, his chain, etc.

As pointed out above, it affects his primary healing. Kiriko has infinite range and her projectile is about a third faster. Ana has even faster and just as large projectiles when it comes to healing others, plus she can zoom in.

Doesn’t depend on damage, it depends on landing hits. Go bump a barrier with it a few times and you’ll charge it up without ever recording damage,

I can tell you don’t like Barbie blaster mercy in stadium.

Which mode do you think all the female mercy players play ? They are all in stadium. And mercy is doing more than fine.

  • Stadium
  • Babie blasters
  • Female players playing Mercy
  • … Mercy
