I want the game to be balanced around Diamond, and not be dictated by pro play in which more than half the roster is irrelevant, with concessions made to both low ranks and high ranks.
I smell a skill issue.
Torn is fine.
Sombra just got a much needed nerf, so did Zarya.
Any hitscan hero counters Pharah hard.
Just be aware of Junkrat’s spam angle and flank.
Bastion has huge dps, but has absolutely no mobility.
All these characters have weak ranged damage, so just pick Soldier, Sojurn, Cassidy, or Widow.
Next thing you know someone’s complaining about Sun turrets or something.
but diamond has no issues with these hero’s either???
Let me bold it for you. Concessions made to both low ranks and high ranks. Heroes being busted in low ranks but being irrelevant in high ranks doesn’t mean it’s balanced. Just means it’s not a problem for high ranks.
so you want the game balanced around people who don’t know how to play. these hero’s never have been and never will be meta, but they see play in gm+, torb was picked often in owl on certain points, and Dafran is playing these hero’s in top500 and doing fine, so I don’t think you really know what you’re trying to say lad
alot are wanting to see bastion removed from the game again and i think torb should be rmeoved as well tbh though last time i said that junkrat needs nerfed i got flamed
I can’t believe people are mad over characters doing what they were designed to do.
I get people dislike obstacles, but come on now. All those heroes are not busted and can be countered. I am sorry some people became used to not seeing them as they were being fixed.
Like others said Range Dps solves all the problems you have with these characters.

You don’t know what I’m saying, lad. I’d like to see Bastion, Torb, Pharah and Junkrat removed from comp and reworked into something less oppressive because I’m sick to death of people building the most oppressive comps possible in low ranks and getting a free pass because players like the almighty Dafran don’t have a problem with any of these heroes individually.
God forbid low ranks actually get to enjoy the damn game.
these hero’s are perfectly fine though lad, we don’t need to go balancing the game around people who don’t know how to play adlay that would be silly now

You underestimate low ranks. The game is not that complex, lad.
Aim lower than that.
shooters with 3 abilities aren’t that complex bruz, they’re about having good mechanics and game sense, which low ranks have none of, so very easily dealt with characters like bastion and torbjorn can seem overpowered, when they’re some of the easiest hero’s in the game to deal with and counter
You can counter Zarya with snipers.

I understand Zarya and Sombra, but torb, bastion? Are they really that big a problem in competitive? I only play unranked open queue so I have no idea.
But in unranked it’s tanks that are destroying everything along with genji and sorjourn. Torb and Bastion are fine in QP. Junkrat and Pharah are exceptionally annoying and frustrating to play against, but in no way, shape or form are they broken.

It’s not just unranked. There’s just Genji’s everywhere like there’s an angry hive of Genjis that someone kicked. Sojourn is Soldier but Widow so she’s really strong. Oneshots from any range and a good left click.

Sometimes if she isn’t near cover or Ana blasting through the shields in assault mode as Bastion is a good way of killing her. She’s a decent size target and Bastion has armor (30% damage reduction) and ironclad (20% reduction) so you’ve got some good protection against her. Never do it if you expect she can survive. It’s weird but he counters her in 1v1.
