over my time spent in the overwatch community ive seen everyone get worked about the potg system and ive never known why? its just such a minor part of the game it seems hardly worth getting worked up about, like i don’t see a need to change it like at all…

Exactly. But I understand the annoyance of you don’t get it after a 6 or 5k. But it’s not that big of a deal.
yeah. potg is just a weird silly part of the game where you either get random clips of people doing absolutely nothing or epic 5 or 6k ults, ususally something inbetween. i don’t see the need the need to get worked up about it.

It’s not that serious and I never said it was
I make YT videos and its annoying when I use all 3 highlights, and usually bank on one of the clips getting POTG to be able to save the 4th, just for it to be a moira pressing E or a brig swinging into a grav
I just want to be able to skip the PotG and look at the cards. Maybe one day. 
I mean supports who never got it had reason to be annoyed about it.
Now that pressing q doesnt give dps potg and suddenly its a problem for them? Nah.
I play a lot of dps, I dont feel bad when my triple kill goes to an Ana. Poor Ana deserves some recognition for once lmao.
I would like it fixed purely because it’s mildly embarrassing to get POTGs while playing support now…

Here’s a fun story I was playing mystery heroes earlier today. I was reaper and while my team was still capturing the first point of hanamura I sneak to the second point, kill 2 roadhogs by MYSELF, a rein with the help of zenyatta, a Mei, then their ana that was just coming out of spawn, and keep in mind at this point I killed 5 people all with the majority of damage done, and this was all in less than 30 seconds. You know who got play? Moira
because its not related to the other one. thats talking about “moira stealing potg’s” whilst this is asking “Whats the issue with potg”
My issue is that it’s broken and blizzard unsurprisingly hasn’t done anything to fix it yet.
But if they fix it it goes back to Ana never getting potg and any Shimada on the team guaranteed to get it. Thats just as boring. At least now supports and tanks actually have a chance.
Good question… it means absolutely nothing… most of the time is a ‘Who pressed the Q’ key
I mostly play supports and I’m A-OK with it going back to the way it was. It’s cringeworthy getting PotG, and then watching myself use a healing grenade and pump darts into Rein’s butt, all to the sarcastic "WHOA"s of everyone else.
Ana’s tough, she survived getting shot through the eye. She’ll live with not getting PotGs.
Just because its cringeworthy to you doesnt mean its not special to someone else.
I’m sure there others out there who are actually happy when they get it.
Dude I get potg all the time for cringe plays on dps. Panic shoot and accidentally kill two people? Oops potg. Doesnt mean Ashe mains shouldn’t get potg.
Dps has had potg catered to them for years lmao. They can sit this out and let others have a turn.
Accidentally killing two people sounds like it’d be more embarrassing for the victims than the Ashe. At least it’d be entertaining to watch. Playing Bap, popping Amp Matrix and pumping RMBs into a teammate is fun to actually do, but as a PotG it’s really boring.
