That’s the direction they’ve been going since they ran out of ideas after the first year of OW2, they do have some hits here and there, but the misses like Venture’s horrible design and lack of background or Hazard (who’s this guy even for? what is he supposed to represent?) do feel like amateurish Wattpad ideas that never reached quality control.

The moment I saw McCree’s mythic skin, I honestly thought it was supposed to be a beachwear skin they forgot to release. I was wrong but d***… an AI design probably would’ve looked better than that.

I don’t mind that he’s topless, I mind that the skin’s kinda boring. In general, I think more of the guys should have shirtless options.
Women like it because its hot. Men like it because it directly plays into the male power fantasy. Everyone wins. Have you ever seen that one render of Blazkowicz from Wolfenstien and he’s shirtless and buff and stepping on a WWII era german soldier employed under a specific austrian painter’s rule (I wasn’t allowed to use the actual word)?
Everyone loves that. Everyone needs that. Why not put that in Overwatch?

Another mythic that I won’t be buying.
Hopefully, the Doom skin delivers at least, but I certainly wouldn’t bet on it.
