oof⊠iâll never understand people who want eye tracking.
To be fair I think eyes move way too jittery to actually be useful in aiming. But I can dream.
Well you donât know, some might be playing without one during OWL but you canât see it because when WE see it, we see the default reticles and the team colors, but on THEIR screens they see it however they have it set.
been doing this for sometime. but doesnât work for me for long range snipe/hitscan. works extremely well for close/mid range burst (roadhog and reaper).
also doubled my sensitivity. now at 7 with 800 dpi.
Not that Iâm plugging it or anything, but the Razer Kraken Pro is an AMAZING headset. Once I got it my gameplay improved exponentially because I know where EVERYONE is at all times. I can hear Sombra translocate and know where she landed because the directional sound on this headset is crazy good.
I credit Overwatch with my new love of Razer products in general though lol. I saw marked improvement both when I bought this headset and when I got my DeathAdder.
Yeah, I can imagine how eye tracking will go.
Why are you shooting at your own widow? At least shoot at her headâŠ
Many of them stream. Ive yet to see a top player not use one. Nor have I ever heard people try to argue its better to not use one.
Meh, I was just pointing out that it IS, technically, possible. Honestly I donât think I could play without a reticle, but I play projectile heroes.
is this a joke or are you serious?
It is possible, but I feel like it is unlikely. Nor do I see how there is any advantage to not having a crosshair.
can you please unblock your profile?
what do you have Chibi? Iâm in the market for a new set of headphones
This throws off my aim every time I switch skins or characters, switch between games where the FoV differs, or move my chair slightly. I prefer to focus on the crosshair and the camera rotation point.
I just use a very, very, very tiny pink dot in all my FPS games.
Itâs more like waiting until your enemy makes a movement thatâs predictable to fire than anything. OW has immediate acceleration and 0 turn time, so, itâs a harder game to hit people in if you just fire when you think you got them.
Unreal Tournament was all about those dodges ⊠but literally wait until you dodge and then I snap to where your head will be. gg.
you should try it out. if it doesnât work for you, what OP claims is still not false though.
Ok real talk. In how many games did you get banned for shooting walls
why removed?
Its funny just recently in attempting raise my aim skills I began thinking of doing this, but figured if it really was doable, I would expect like no one in OWL to even use reticles except maybe Ashe, Ana and Widow zoomed in⊠might give it a shot now based on this discussion.
People shoot bows and real weapons without reticles in r/l all the time⊠it should be possible hereâŠ
Practice enough and this can be a viable thing to do. You forget that your monitor is your point of reference. If you land hits without adjusting after the first shot, you are either lucky, or using your frame of reference.
Crosshairs can be an extra step, but removing it, means youâre shooting a sniper rifle without a scope. Can be done, sure.
Yes, depending on the moment, you may not even see your crosshairs in order to make hits. You move instinctively. Thus, flicking.
Guns have crosshairs for a frame of reference. There are moments when you wonât need to rely on reaction and have time to aim more carefully. Crosshairs can increase this chance to 100%. Your frame of reference can also change depending on what is happening, how you are positioned, etc. Itâs just like paintball. You can aim in the general direction, and maybe make a hit, youâre arenât 100% sure. If you miss, you adjust based on the last shot.
Crosshairs with the gap in the middle is so you can have an unobstructed view of your target.
No they donât. People who are irresponsible, untrained, illegally owns said weapons, idiots, thugs holding their guns sideways, do this. This is why we have gun and weapons laws.
This Overwatch player practiced a lot with their crosshair off. What happened next will warm your heartâŠ
