Why i have to aim with ana but life weaver no aims?

I am not going to lie, I struggle to land shots on teammates as Ana a bit. I have spent a lot of time playing hitscan and even projectile heroes. My aim is well above average on most of the characters I play. For whatever reason, I just cannot heal with Ana. It stresses me out trying to land bodyshots even on bigger targets such as Reaper or Mei. If our tank is Sigma or Zarya, I ain’t even want to play her. I would rather fish for headshots crossmap as Illari because it is way less stressful.

As an Ana main - wut? You’re upset he has less aiming requirements when Ana as compensation has higher heal numbers, unlimited range, instantly applied healing, and in addition to this a heal-boosting utility when LW has none?

Ana is the best support in the game. Be glad she isn’t getting nerfed lol.

Little tip, don’t always aim directly at them, when scoped in you have that triangle outline as long as your ally is within that triangle it will hit and heal them, only really hip fire when close to them.

Any Ana main stuck in Plat is genuinely sad.

He literally can not.

He doesn’t have a nade which both heals and puts an extra multiplier on healing

ana is hitscan and fires faster, Lifeweaver has to charge his heals and they have travel time ana also has nade which ups her heals

Ana can be back farther than any other support since she has the sniper.
And her primary heal is a button. Sure, you have to aim (a bit, there is forgiveness for the heal hitbox so you’re still getting training wheels) but LW has to charge up to 75
In the middle of a fight I’m getting 50-60s left and right.

Ana is hitscan, can zoom, shoots faster, can instantly shoot at enemies without weapon swap… and thats ONLY looking at their primary weapons as comparison. not even including the rest of their kits, anas is already better in most situations.

Cause he is power creep to be viable due to his overall design being bad and not brining much to the game. He had one good ability. Now his healing leap is also good and the other two decent due to the mentioned power creep. Still not insane, but decent.

Regardless, he is a power creeped mess.

Let’s not forget Ana can heal anything in her sightline and has 0 projectile travel time, whereas LW can’t reach past a certain range and the healing has a slight delay. That’s why one has a homing effect, and the other does not.

got me wondering: how much of an upgrade would it be if LW could shoot charged blossoms out as a straight projectile if he doesnt have a teammate locked on? for example, when the team is too far ahead, he can still just throw them out like syms right click orbs. means he can miss, but at least has SOME option to do something.

I feel like it’s practically impossible to not lock on to someone though. I aim at the sky and my healing sails away downwards towards the nearest lockable ally.

you can change the lockon sensitivity btw, so you could put it super low if you want more control

Ana can also heal from infinite range, has better utility, and overall heals more because Lifeweaver has to charge his flower to hit 75.

Lw can’t apply anti heal to multiple targets. Lw can’t sleep a target and almost guarantee a free kill.

What’s funny is Ana still has significantly higher HPS than Lifeweaver so even this isn’t accurate haha

I don’t think I’ve ever felt threatened whenever I’m on tank with the enemy LW lol The enemy Ana on the other hand is a menace.

This is such a bad take that I can’t even express how bad it is.

Ana heals more lmao. You don’t consider fire rate when you talk about numbers and are getting upset about result, classic forums lmao

Ana 93,75hps. Lifeweaver 57.7 hps. Add nade to that and it gets silly
