You can actually but it’s very difficult because she’s slim for a tank.

I honestly don’t care what the ability is. The argument for removing it is the problem.
I main as orisa. I don’t get scatter shot at an embarassing rate to cause the dev team to remove an ability.

It’s funny how many people think the problem is the fact that Hanzo can kill tanks. Blizzard is not changing Hanzo’s ability to kill tanks, they’re simply making it more obvious when he does. Meaning instead of you dying instantly to Scatter Arrow, it will now take 1 second to kill you with Volley.
actually changed for the better, if hanzo can land 3 crits in one volley, that would be scatter damage right there already.
I hope the projectile speed increase helps him actually achieve that. It’s unfortunate you have to absolutely hit headshots with a projectile weapon to be as effective as other heroes who has splash damage and/or rapid fire hitscan weapons, but hopefully Volley’s cooldown is short enough that you can use it at least twice in a single team fight.
treat it like a semi automatic version of Zen’s orbs.
at close range its not that bad. and from the looks of it, the cd might be in the 6 second range or even w/o cd at all like zen’s right click
Did they change it? Last I read it was an ability you activated where your next six shots within a few seconds fired fully drawn and for 80 damage on body shots. Then you could either hold fire to full auto them, maximum of 3 arrows a second, or tap fire every time you wanted to shoot an arrow.
you have 6 second period to shoot those 6 arrows.
they haven’t say anything about the cd though.
tbh, they might actually want to wait on the scatter removal because of the new hero.
I really hope they eventually reintroduce at least ONCE bounce per Volley arrow. Being able to kill a fleeing enemy in a corridor or by bouncing a shot off a wall to get around shields is huge for Hanzo (and even huger now that we’re going to be fighting more shields and armor).
on paper volley is more reliable then scatter against shields, and with volley’s full automatic mode, you can chase down that running soldier w/o having to draw for .9 sec. makes a huge difference.
I’ve 1-shotted so many Orisa lives with Scatter.
IMO, if anything they want to keep Scatter, best limit the amount of scattered arrows or damage that one target can receive.
450 instant damage with little counterplay? It needs to go. It’s not fair for a lot more characters than just Orisa not to mention it’s 10 second cooldown.
Fortify has a longer cooldown than many forms of CC. If Flashbang gets used on a fortiied Orisa, and McCree doesn’t die, he’ll have flashbang when Orisa is 4 seconds into her cooldown.
In most situations, if I’ve been able to flank and one shot Orisa, that team is probably losing for other reasons since they can’t seem to protect their flanks. It’s rare to be able to one shot any tank unless they are completely out of position or their team is doing almost nothing to move as a unit and provide suppressing fire.
ugh, terrain is a counter play, if you are on the higher ground or on any kind of incline, hanzo can’t scatter you, shield is counter play, can’t scatter behind a shield. jumping is also counter play, Zarya’s shield, tracer’s blink, genji’s double jump, junkrat’s mine, rein’s shield, Dva’s DM, Winston’s bubble, hog’s breather, Zen’s no leg, Pharah, do you want me to continue?
