More like full of people who doesn’t know how to speak correcty.
I avoid voice chat because ;
-People rage and insults everyone
-Opens mic everywhere with background music
-Useless information and call outs who aren’t even exact.

It’s really not that bad. Even in Gold, there is a noticable difference in how people play.
And I get a looot more communication / voice going on there.
It’s more toxic as well, but that’s kinda natural I guess, when people see their precious SR on the line and blame their team for it…instead of playing to improve.
Let me explain the art of plat and the reason the expression “platchat” exists:
So a typical plat is someone who knows he’s average but very slightly avove average. This means he’s at least better than 50% of the playerbase. So that means he kind of knows the basics of the game.
Yet a lot of people think that knowing the basics means being a good player. So that’s where players actually start thinking: I’m good, I can carry, and I have to. I don’t need others.
That’s where people start thinking they know what they’re talking and just because of their rank they gain legitimacy.
Thing is: that’s co.pletely wrong. And thus you get basically arrogant gold players. Which is worse than gold players.
That’s what plat is. I’ve spend a huge amount of time in gold and let me tell you this: I’ve had more competitive and high level games i gold than in plat. I have rarely seen actual good plat players. Yet I have seen some monstruous gold players.
I’m a low plat, been climbing all the way from 1730SR (S7) to 2548 (S9) with a 70%winrate. I’m still pretty bad at the game though. But I start recognising mistakea as aoon as I do them, that’s already a big step!
I’ve noticed there is a huge difference between high plat and mid plat with how games go. Once you hit about 2900, the games start to feel like real games and people actually start trying. OP, see if you can climb a bit more and I think you’ll see things get better. The execution is by no means very good, but they at least try to execute something as a team.
Well not everyone knows how to be a master’s player.
Diamond is no better, and from what I’ve seen neither is masters.
but if u win you get SR but if u lose u lose ur rank slowly
