reinhardt is one of my most played heroes even in QP.
and getting stuck with too many pulsebombs and getting very little help from my team in QP i was overjoyed i could play his squire and help other reinhardt players with these characters that just ignores his shield and jumps behind him and cause a ruckus, and then i just grew to love her more as she did everything i
wanted to do with reinhardt each game. go ham on people with my melée attacks and do it justifiably and be considered a team player for it.
but then she started to wane in power losing the ability to help my reinhardt on my own and i knew, it was too good to be true.
and i accepted the changes that came to her and got bitter because of it because now i can’t really do that anymore, i can’t help my rein keep the enemy away from his rear.
now she’s just like the other supports, not really ideal for dealing with that kind of threat effeciently on their own =/

Yeah, she was a special hero… but not anymore. Good times.
i still like her though, but i’m just sad to see her get like this, she used to be so perfect.
to me she was truly a miracle.
but oh well, i’ll guess i’ll keep on trucking and see if i can deal with these changes and still do that to some extent atleast, i owe it to her and rein to try.
I’m not sure if it counts, but I like plying heroes that have to manage a lot of abilities at the same time. I currently main Lúcio, Orisa, and Baptiste, but with the way the rework is going, I may pick up Brigitte as well.
Can provide damage, inspire, armor, shielding, and cc at the same time. The skill comes in when and where you decide to put each of them. I like that aspect of her, but she always felt too direct before. Now, she may have to distribute her abilities more creatively.
Because she used to be the ONLY front line healer we had.
She was right there with you in the heat of the battle, pushing people away or stunning and whacking them with her mace while dishing out heals.
Now she’s just another boring backline healbot who can’t trigger ‘inspire’ as she can’t get close enough to the fight without dying.

I’ll have to try too… I said I would quit if she stayed like this, but that was a lie. Overwatch is still a pretty good game. There’s no other game I had so much fun with, so I have to try to make Brigitte work even if she’ll be considered a troll pick.
I have Baptiste left. That’s it. If I don’t enjoy 222 MORE than I love brig…

i honestly don’t think she’s gonna be a troll pick, i think this might push her into the realm of being an actual support in some ways that works more often than not, but it’s gonna be rough for sure.
all the hate she’s garnished through the time spent in the game is gonna be truly heartbreaking to see an entire enemy team just continously try to crush her at every chance they get.
but that will most likely die down with time too.

She was great. I feel bad, because I really didn’t appreciate enough how different she was from all the other supports. Now, her playstyle’s gone.

But that WON’T replace Brigitte… I like Baptiste, but not how much I love Brigitte. Well, if you move on… you at least had 3 years of fun 
but having to quit due to the game you love becoming worse by every patch… is heartbreaking indeed.
If someone picks her in high ranks, of course she’s going to be a troll pick. Anything that is underpowered is just not worth playing and will be heavily countered. If devs push her into being a main healer (which, if they want, she needs more buffs still), I’m going to be mad. Because they don’t know what they’re doing and because it will absolutely destroy her. Heck, she won’t be anything close to was she was before.
And tbh, I wouldn’t mind if everyone focused her and she got rekt every match. It would be helpful, as it would really show how underpowered she is.

but we’ll see if that is the case, i’ve seen a lot of changes through the years, and some do good even if they look like utter bs at the outset.
i still think reaper should have life orbs dropped on kills instead of lifesteal for example, but that doesn’t mean lifesteal isn’t really good on him.
i enjoy playing with my wife, if you know what i mean ;))))))
I think a large part of my feeling down about it, is how brig is how i liked to enable heroes that i think people like to play but in ladder can’t. Sombra, symm, torb…
I LOVE baptiste. but my favorite healer to pair with him… is brig. She’s really just been this solid addition to the game for me, despite SO MUCH of the roster I like being put down.
I love Baptiste, but brig made my job a whole lot easier on him.
Lucio could work but… The reddit menace is never with my damn team

I very much enjoy being able to rescue my teammates. Brigitte’s kit was brimming with different tools to do that. Depending on the situation, shield, armor pack, bash, whipshot, her damage combo, and even Rally could all save people.
Nearly all of that is getting nerfed or outright removed on the PTR. That makes her the third of my mains to lose what made them special and fun.

Usually, I play her as a niche fill when we have three DPS, Hog, and an off-healer. I don’t want to go main healer in this comp because I know I’ll be targeted hard, especially without a main tank. I don’t want to go main tank either because an off-healer absolutely would not be able to support the team and me. So I end doing a little tanking and a little healing and pray the enemy team doesn’t have a Pharah.
I play her cause I find her fun. I like smacking ppl in the face. I don’t wanna play supports who are mainly heal focused I wanna have fun to. I hated her at first but I’ve grown to really love her. Gonna get her golden weapon once this season ends!

I played her back when people were actually playing GOATS on ladder. Or well, “ladder GOATS” (AKA just picking 3 tanks, 3 healers, 1 healer is normally Brig)
I usually filled the healing spot as Brig. That, or back in Brig’s hayday nearish launch I usually had to mirror pick.
Been a while since I’ve played competetively tho.
