Why do you make us play your worst game modes to get a loot box?

Im gonna assume cuz ppl want as many boxes as they can get, and getting 3 boxes while still earning normal xp saves them 3-5 hours in terms of play time vs loot box gain.

Same here, I love arcade. I play arcade for the variety, and comp for the challenge.
QP is garbage.

I too seen the selection and thought about passing right away. Horrible selection of modes for event launch. I tried and gave up, hoping for a PVE event to pop tomorrow in arcade or something at least winable at a fair rate.

I wish they had just put multiple pages of the arcade with all the old events at once, I don’t wanna wait for the one I want to play and hope it pops up the next day. :frowning:

I agree. I HATED Lucioball the first time. I certainly don’t want to play it again and the fact that I will have to wait to get a gamemode I can tolerate annoys me (As I don’t like the other modes either).

However, I will be patient and when one comes, I will run that sucker into the ground.

WHY do people say things like this?

NO ONE is forcing you to play Arcade!

If you just play quick play or comp you’d earn boxes at only a slightly lower rate (and actually be having ‘fun’).

Are you seriously suggesting 2-4 loot boxes is worth 1-3 hours of your time playing game modes you hate?

You get lootboxes in every gamemode,the boxes for winning arcade games are just a bonus.
Would you be happier if they remove it? Just dont play it if it is so painful for you.

I heard the event activites will rotate daily, so i assume in a few more hours it would change to something else?

To incentivize you to try their arcade in the first place? To offer weekly rewards for consistent participation in game modes that are resistant (not immune) to metas and bad balancing? It’s a business decision.

FFA, 3v3, and 1v1 are all pretty fun and easy to win imo.

More ppl should make posts like this.

The only actually good arcade modes are only the PvEs due to the lack of any other PvE content.

Imo, all deathmatch modes should have their own tab.

Call it tryhard tab or something, but it really blows for us that don’t like those modes to have the arcade full of variants of deathmatch or elim.

Especially when my favorite arcade mode, Lucioball, only gets a half day in the first rotation and then we have Junk’s Revenge for 24 hours.

Agreed, or just add them to custom games. I think it’s safe to say that most of us grind out the lootboxes within the first couple of hours and the rest of the time we want arcade modes that we enjoy playing for replayability’s sake.

To me, the most replayable modes are Lucioball and Retribution.

Junk’s Revenge gets pretty boring after two or three matches of it.

This just in, Mercy one trick dislikes game modes where they can’t just play Mercy and are forced to actually play the game.
