Pointless going for the final point because with the defenders spawn essentially on the point you have to win like 2-3 fights in a row to fully cap it. If you lose someone as the attacking team you basically immediately have lost the point because your team takes 3x longer to get back than if you kill a defender
Best strat is to just camp the 2nd point and keep your strong positioning and ults. No point going for 3rd, wasting ults and then losing all momentum. Thats how reverse sweeps happen and before you know it a 2 point lead is undone.
You try to go for 3rd, lose that and then because you were all busy respawning and scrambling back to the 2nd point the enemy are already positioned to win it. All of a sudden its 2/2 because you gave up 2 points for free trying to cap an objectively impossible to win matchup on 3rd. Best play is just not even try for 3rd because its so unfavourable for you to win and instead hold everything to keep winning 2nd over and over
How the devs envisioned clash: teams would go back and forth across the entire map making really close games like push can get
In reality: 1 team wins 1st and then you just fight over the same 2nd and 3rd points back and forth
Defenders shouldnt get a point for stopping the attackers from capping a point thats directly outside their spawn. Just utter nonsense and punishes trying to play agressively
