Why do throwers not get banned?

Over the past 2 seasons I have seen the most consecutive throwers in 8 years of playing the game. The issue is that these people are not getting banned or punished. They don’t even need to buy new accounts…

I know this is the case because I see other people in the community constantly complaining about the same people throwing on the same accounts. I had a duo throwing games for months and only stopped getting them because I ranked out of their range. Just today I see on someones TikTok a clip of the same duo STILL running it down weeks later. My friend started getting the same tank I got (which the whole lobby reported) after he got “punished”.

I don’t understand why these people aren’t getting perma’d. Are the reports not being reviewed? I am receiving a “Thank you for reporting” notification when I log on, but then I still see the people I reported inting in competitive games. It seems they are just making sure they don’t end up in the same lobby as the person that reported them, if that makes sense.

Having to sit through 10-20min game of my teammate sitting still and not getting kicked is honestly making the game unplayable for me. Most of the games I’m losing just have someone sitting still. The game has a pretty decent player base, so getting rid of the people who spend their weekends sitting still in comp lobbies is not going to kill the game.

its all automated. We all hope they would have someone who actually reviewed games but they dont. The way Blizzard handles all of this actually encourages people to throw by their lack of action. Its a team based game where people dont even try to play like a team. Its a team based game thats designed around counter picking but you dont have to switch even if its almost guaranteed a loss. Heres the best part all of those actions by your teammates affect your ratings and nothing is done about it. So naturally, What will the internet due? The worse thing that they can get away with. TROLL TROLL TROLL and throw and annoy the people who want to play the game the way its intended. This is 100% Blizzards fault for their lack of action.
