Because they experience the Genji gameplay loop. Which… is garbage (sometimes).
Most supports outright lose to Genji outside of Moira. The same is not true of Tracer. I imagine that is why. Same reason some supports HATED Sombra even more than I did and why other supports did not mind her existence in the slightest. It’s all about the MU spread.

No one else has a CD reset on kill/assist.
That alone is OP, regardless of role.

Supports don’t like to get farmed by someone with hypermobility and several get out of jail free cards.
Genji players on the other hand, find the utmost indignation if someone is better than them.
So it’s circle of problems. He needs a rework, and supports need DPS nerfs.
