Welcome to the internet  :+1:

You should look into my thread that I created 2 days ago (and is still going), with the same “I am disappointed in the reaction of the community”. You will find a lot of “gems” there… thankfully some of them are already removed, but not all of them.

Because people forget that those on the other side of the screen are people and not chatbots

People think that the Devs are reading the forums 24/7 and that their opinion will be tallied in a democratic vote at the end of each quarter.

I think it’s more a reflection of people just being bored and desperate for connection. It is kind of childish, but also very primal.

Copium psychology. People just get tired of this endless attention seeking with all the rainbow flags and virtue signaling. You are literally creating homophobes in the process with these posts you’re writing.

Then you aren’t looking.

Oh someone openly endorsing homophobia while rocking 5 posts. Clearly you’re proud of your worldview.

This isn’t homophobia in the slightest, try again.

You are literally telling someone with a rainbow icon that they’re creating homophobes. That their behavior is somehow wrong and entrenching homophobia. Be better.

The pandering posts are attention seeking in nature by themselves.

Homophobes are already made by society with bashing on lgbt folk and insulting people who don’t fit a certain mold. Whatever I say just shows stuff already researched/experienced.

Most times those that have more homophobic tendencies tend to have feelings of theses things (being lgbt) and are in denial and lash out at others. If you had a negative experience of being bullied for being lgbtq. You may also do that unto others and may not want to associate or dress like many lgbtq figures thus the homophobia.

It’s a cycle of hatred that can be broken by realizing this.

Nah, you’re just pulling things out of context to prove your point. The first paragraph contains some facts, the rest of your post is just nothing but conjecture.

Because Overwatch is one Stark Tower away from being the Avengers.

Forums are where you go to argue for ultimately no reason. Mega corporations like Activision Blizzard don’t pay attention to players on the forums. The only reason people come here is to disagree or seek gratification from those who do agree.

A lot of people who tend to be in the closet are homophobic. That is very true.

Even I went through a homphobic state as I was processing my feelings and it wasn’t something I wanted to be. But over many years accepted about myself and I don’t even feel bad for it anymore.

"The power of homophobia is such that homosexual individuals often feel culturally compelled to misrepresent their sexuality (something known as being “in the closet”) in order to avoid social stigma. However, homophobia also impacts heterosexuals, as it is impossible to definitively prove one’s heterosexuality. Accordingly, heterosexuals and homosexuals wishing to be thought heterosexual are compelled to avoid associating with anything coded as homosexual. This is accomplished through the repeated association with cultural codes of heterosexuality and disassociation from codes for homosexuality. Conversely, the suspicion that someone is homosexual often is cast upon whoever displays behaviour gender-coded appropriate for the opposite sex. For men, competitive team sports, violence, cars, beer, and an emotionless disposition have been associated with masculinity (and thus heterosexuality), while an appreciation of the arts, fine food, individual sports, and emotional expressionism has been associated with homosexuality. This equation is reversed for women.

A homohysteric [culture] (a term coined by American sociologist Eric Anderson) can be created by the combination of an awareness of homosexuality and a high degree of homophobia. In such a culture, it is believed that anyone might be gay, and, as a result, heterosexuals’ social, sexual, and personal behaviours are limited because men fear association with femininity and women fear association with masculinity.

In a homohysteric culture, individuals are concerned with proving their heterosexuality because homosexuality is stigmatized. Conversely, when cultural homophobia is so great that citizens do not generally believe that homosexuality is even possible (as in many contemporary Middle Eastern, African, and Asian cultures), there is no need to prove to one’s peers that one is not gay. A [manifestation] of this notion can be seen in [Iran], whose president, [Mahmoud Ahmadinejad](, said in a speech in the [United States]( in 2007 that his country had no homosexuals. Others have sometimes labeled homosexuality a “white disease.” Ironically, in some highly homophobic (yet not homohysteric) cultures, heterosexuals are given more freedom of gendered expression. Men can, for example, hold hands in many highly homophobic cultures (because others do not perceive they can be [homosexual], while hand holding among men raises homosexual suspicion in the West."

Homophobia is present in many people still realizing there sexuality. If they grew up with negative thoughts on such things they tend to lash out. Thus when you are being homophobic you have a chance of actually being lgbt yourself and just in the closet and using defense mechanisms to hurt others.

You can also just be a hateful person too, or be swayed by relgious hate. Where the uptick of homophobia in history started with other religious organizations started gaining popularity. The mistreatment of folks is fueled by hate/fearmongering and its easy to stop the cycle of hatred realizing this!

Sorry guys, you aren’t allowed to defend your side otherwise you’re some wannabe super hero. You just have to sit there quietly and let the hateful, angry people say whatever they want.

Soldier should get a batman skin just cause hed look funny in it

Begone foul demon…only an evil person would say such a thing.
