Omg how can you like console its so much… Slower and weaker and… Console eww why not just buy a cheap gameing PC you wont wanna go back…

Ive been joked on by people who legit dont understand console like at all, like whenever I said I was good at lifeweaver peoole brought this up as like the ultimate “Got you” argument… Saucebosses stats were better then mine by MILLLLLEEESSSS and he was a higher rank.

Well if your not the god of console a PC player playing it for the “Memes” haha unranjed to GM no shield rein only then why play it?

Honestly we just like console… It really is that simple.

Oh and cheaters are less rampant Ximmers are still annoying when they come up but cheaters are dialed back a lot.

I dont know when console became like the this weapon for arguments… Or even like how because a lot of people dont even understand the platform like at all, hitscan are just as dominate on console as they are on PC I dont see like why this would change because of platform unless you do some weird stuff with projectiles and aim assist just becomes the best hitscan crutch ever… Or something werid like that buutttt thats not the case nor has it ever been.

I like it for several reasons.

The software is optimized specifically for my hardware. I don’t have any technical issues like I hear about on PC.

No cheaters.

Fewer streamers.

Controller > MnK

I just like my couch, my TV, my dog and my wife so I play in the living room

If I had room in my living room for a desk, yea id connect my pc to my monitor. For now, I use my pc from my couch. I’d have to game in a spare bedroom and that’s silly

late edit, I also sit at a desk all day for work. No shot am I going to go home and sit at another desk.

Consoles are just uber-convenient! Less hardware issues, controller works near flawlessly. Much more consistent experience really.

The only big downside is connecting a keyboard. You can connect them, its just more of a hassle.

But using a keyboard and mouse on console is highly forbidden, you can get banned especially in overwatch

Hes not talking about that they mean for typing I do it to… Unless you wanna go letter to letter with the analog stick going all the way to shift when you wanna capatlize one letter un captilize it go to shift again to type an extra character unshift and… Yeaaahhhhh.

Well for just typing is fine, i do it too, it makes it super smooth too reply and talk

I’m so bad on controller. It just feels so awkward, idk how I ever played halo on the 360

I feel the same about original Counterstrike on PC. Not sure how I tolerated it.

I haven’t used a computer for gaming in ages. Now, a lot of the games I used to play are coming to console. So I play console.

That, and I don’t have a gaming pc anymore.

I used to be a PC gamer and I hated the endless tweaking/optimizing.

Now I’m so happy with the plug and play nature of my PS5.

This. Typing with a controller is painful. But playing with a controller is da best :sunglasses: :video_game:

Funnily enough the tweaking is what makes it fun. Same reason I’m not a fan of apple products; it’s all too limited and locked down.

Close to zero technical knowledge, no motivation to learn basic stuff about computers. Just turn on and play. This tottaly make sense for millions people and no shame in that

I have both, but PC is still the better platform over all for gaming.

I have a PS5 for exclusives, game pass ultimate for xbox games on my pc, and now that Square is actually going to start making games for PC instead of ports of their console versions… No point in having a console for me.

Plus not having to upgrade to a brand new console every few years is nice, really since backwards compatibility seems to not be a thing much anymore.

My answer is simple; all of my friends own an XBOX, my younger brothers each own an XBOX, and my wife owns an XBOX. I play where my friends, my family, and my wife play. If they had gaming rigs, I would play on PC, if they all owned Switches, I would play on a Switch.

My wife and I own an XBOX each, a Nintendo Switch, and a PS5 (the latter is her baby). With all of this in mind, why would I want to switch over to a PC? Sure, the PC offers more versatility and a far superior experience, but I could not care less about the “pwetty gwapics”.

I play to have fun with the friends that I have made over the years and to spend time with my family and wife. That is it.
